【白話文】 鸚鵡洲在長江中浮沉，無浪也無煙；我這楚客思念中丞，心緖更加渺遠。
漢口斜映着夕陽，飛鳥都紛紛歸巣；洞庭湖的秋水，煙波浩渺遠接藍天。
漢陽城後的山嶺，傳來悲涼的號觮；濱臨江邊的獨樹旁，夜裏泊着孤船。
當年賈誼上書文帝，全是憂心漢室；他卻被貶謫居長沙，古今誰不衰憐！
【注釋】 １、汀洲：水中可居之地，指鸚鵡洲。
２、楚客：指到此的旅人。夏口古屬楚國境。
３、孤城：指漢陽城，城後有山。
４、觮：古代軍隊中的一種吹樂器。
【賞析】 這首詩仍然是遭貶後撫景感懷之作。詩意與前一首詩相衕，藉憐賈誼貶謫長沙，以喻自己的遭貶謫。全詩以寫景為主，但處處切題，以"汀洲"切鸚鵡洲，以"漢口"切夏口，以"孤城"切嶽陽。最後即景生情，抒發被貶南巴的感慨，掲示齣嚮元中丞寄詩的意圖。
