直中书省

白居易

　　丝纶阁下文章静，钟鼓楼中刻漏长。
　　独坐黄昏谁是伴，紫薇花对紫薇郎。

【白话文】 我在中书省里拟诏书的丝纶阁值班，没什么文章可写，觉得周围一片寂静，
只听到钟鼓楼上刻漏的滴水声，时间过得太慢了。
在这黄昏的寂寞中，我一个人孤独地坐着，谁来和我作伴呢？
惟独紫葳花和我这个紫薇郎寂然相对。

【注释】 【丝纶】帝王所出之命令也，取王言如丝其出如纶之意。
【钟鼓】以定昏晓而节更漏之声
【紫薇郎】中书省入直之臣，此诗为乐天入直之诗。
（1）丝纶阁：指替皇帝撰拟诏书的阁楼。
（2）刻漏：古时用来滴水计时的器物。
（3）紫薇郎：唐代官名，紫葳侍郎的简称，即中书侍郎。
