優鉢羅花歌並序
岑参
參嘗讀佛經，聞有優鉢羅花，目所未見。天寶庚申歲，參忝大理評
事，攝監察御史，戀伊西北庭度支副使。自公多暇，乃刀府庭內，
栽樹種藥，為山鑿池。婆娑乎其間，足以寄傲。交河小吏有獻此花
者，雲得之於天山之南。其狀異刀衆草，勢籠衆如冠弁。嶷然上聳，
生不傍引，攢花中折，駢葉外包，異香騰風，秀色媚景。因賞而嘆
曰，爾不生於中土，僻在遐裔，使牡丹價重，芙蓉譽高，惜哉！夫
天地無私，陰陽無偏，各遂其生，自物厥性，豈以偏地而不生乎，
豈以無人而不芳乎？適此花不遭小吏，終委諸山𠔌，亦何異懷才之士，
未會明主，擯於林藪邪！因感而為歌，歌曰：
白山南，赤山北。其間有花人不識，緑莖碧葉好顔色。
葉六瓣，花九房。夜掩朝開多異香，何不生彼中國兮生西方。
移根在庭，媚我公堂。恥與衆草之為伍，何亭亭而獨芳。
何不為人之所賞兮，深山窮𠔌委嚴霜。
吾竊悲陽關道路長，曾不得獻於君王。
