jǐng fú 'èr nián（ gōng yuán 893 nián） qī yuè lǐ mào zhēn zài yī fēng xiě gěi zhāo zōng de xìn zhōng cháo xiào cháo tíng de ruǎn ruò tài dù， xìn de jié wěi zhè shì nà jù míng yán，“ wèi shěn shèngyú bō yuè， zì cǐ hé zhī！”， táng zhāo zōng bó rán bào nù， yǔ zǎixiàng dù ràng néng shāng yì chéng fá lǐ mào zhēn， dù ràng néng què jìn jiàn dào：“ bì xià chū dēng dà bǎo， guó nán wèi píng， mào zhēn jìn zài guó mén， bù yí yǔ tā gòu yuàn， wàn yī bù kè， hòu huǐ nán zhuī。” zhāo zōng dà mà ràng néng：“ wáng shì rì bēi， hào lìng bù chū guó mén， zhè zhèng zhì shì fèn tòng de shí hòu， zhèn bù néng zuò shì líng yí， qīng dàn wéi zhèn diào bīng shū xiǎng， zhèn zì wěi zhū wáng yòng bīng， chéng bài yǔ qīng wú gān。” zhàn zhēng shì dǎ xiǎng liǎo， dàn cháo tíng de jūn duì hái shì yǐ shī bài gào zhōng， lǐ mào zhēn lǐng bīng jìn jūn cháng 'ān wèn zuì。 zhōng xīn de zǎixiàng dù ràng néng zhàn chū lái， yòng xìng mìng wéi zhāo zōng huà jiě liǎo yī nán。 cǐ hòu dà chén men yě hé zhāo zōng zǒu de yuǎn liǎo。
zhì yú dì shí zhāng xiě dào de bīng jiǎn shì jiàn fā shēng zài qián níng yuán nián（ gōng yuán 894 nián）， lǐ kè yòng yě zhèng shì yīn wéi zhè jiàn shì， bǎ chù jiǎo shǒu cì chā rù liǎo jīng jī dào， yīn wéi guó kù kōng xū， zhāo zōng zhǐ hǎo bǎ hòu gōng de jué sè měi nǚ zuò wéi lǐ pǐn jiǎng gěi lǐ kè yòng。
qián níng 'èr nián， lǐ mào zhēn yòu zhǐ shǐ huàn guān shā sǐ liǎo lìng yī gè zǎixiàng cuī shào wěi， zài cì yí shī cháng 'ān， zhāo zōng bèi pò táo wǎng hé dōng qù xún qiú lǐ kè yòng de bì hù。 ér zǒu dào bàn lù bèi lǐ mào zhēn de méng yǒu， huá zhōu cì shǐ hán jiàn zhuī shàng， hán jiàn kǒnghè zhāo zōng shuō：“ chē jià dù hé， wú fù hái qī。” xié chí zhāo zōng yú qián níng sān nián qī yuè shí qī dǐ dá huá zhōu， táng táng yī guó zhī jūn jiù zhè yàng bèi dà chén yōu jìn liǎo jiāng jìn sān nián， qī jiān huáng shì zōng qīn qín wáng sì zhōu， yán wáng jiè pī， tōng wáng zī， yí wáng yīn， péng wáng tì， dān wáng yǔn， jí sháo wáng、 chén wáng、 hán wáng、 jì wáng、 mù wáng děng shí yī rén bèi shā， zhí dào qián níng wǔ nián。
zhè yī nián zhū wēn zhàn jù liǎo dōng dū luò yáng， jú shì fā shēng liǎo zhòng dà biàn huà。 zhè dǎo zhì lǐ mào zhēn、 hán jiàn hé lǐ kè yòng jiàn lì zàn shí de lián méng， tā men jué dìng nìngkě ràng zhāo zōng huí dào cháng 'ān， yě bù néng ràng tā luò dào zhū wēn shǒu lǐ。 yú shì zhāo zōng zài qián níng wǔ nián de bā yuè huí dào cháng 'ān， tóng shí xuān bù gǎi yuán“ guāng huà”， yǐ zī qìng zhù。

ér lǐ mào zhēn tīng shuō zhāo zōng fù wèi， tè yì cóng fèng xiáng gǎn dào cháng 'ān， hòu yán wú chǐ de qǐng qiú jiā fēng qí wáng， wú gōng shòu lù， xiǎn dé yì cháng bá hù。 cǐ hòu zǎixiàng cuī yìn xiǎng jiè zhū wēn de lì liàng zhū shā huàn guān， dà huàn guān hán quán huì zé hé lǐ mào zhēn lián hé， qǐng lái lǐ mào zhēn de jǐ qiān bīng mǎ zhù shǒu jīng chéng， bǎo hù cháng 'ān。 bàn nián hòu zhū wēn lǐng bīng tǎo fá hán quán huì， hán quán huì biàn pò shǐ zhāo zōng yī qǐ táo dào liǎo fèng xiáng。 zhū wēn jǐn zhuī bùshě， jiāng fèng xiáng chéng bāo wéi qǐ lái。 yī zhí wéi kùn liǎo yī nián duō， lǐ mào zhēn shǒu dé liáng cǎo yòng jìn， cóng dōng dào chūn， yǔ xuě yòu duō， chéng lǐ měi tiān 'è sǐ hé dòng sǐ de jiù yòu yī qiān rén， táng zhāo zōng zài gōng zhōng nòng gè xiǎo mó， měi tiān mó dòu mài hē yù， hē dé tā yī diǎn lì qì yě méi yòu。 gōng rén men měi tiān yě yòu sān sì rén sǐ wáng， bǎi xìng gèng cǎn， chī rén de xiàn xiàng dōuhěn pǔ biàn liǎo，“ rén ròu měi jīn zhí bǎi qián， quǎn ròu zhí wǔ bǎi qián， měi rì jìn fèng yù shàn， jiù bǎ cǐ ròu chōng dāng。” zhí dào tiān fù sān nián（ gōng yuán 903 nián） zhēngyuè lǐ mào zhēn shí zài méi fǎ zài shǒu xià qù liǎo， hé zhāo zōng shāng liàng liǎo yī xià， biàn jiāng hán quán huì děng 'èr shí duō míng huàn guān zhǎn shā， jiāng tā men de shǒu jí sòng gěi chéng wài de zhū wēn， tóng shí jiāng zhāo zōng yě jiāo gěi liǎo zhū wēn。 zhū wēn dài zhe dào shǒu de huáng dì chè bīng dōng qù。
