Saito Rong was born in Tokyo in 1933, Kanagawa Prefecture Ota. When he was still in high school, that my colleagues and Ishihara had organized magazine. The latter is a famous politician, writer, 1955, once said that "the sun's seasonal," a book by the "Akutagawa Prize." Saito Rong graduated from Tokyo University School of Law in 1955, Faculty of Law, worked at the Yokohama city government. Is during this time, he led the civil service side of life, while actually began his writing career. In 1960, the 27-year-old Saito Wing to participate in "Gem fun club" Writing short stories, organized in order to "murder on the Star" won Honorable Mention; 1962, the new jewel in the medium-length award competition, Saito Rong to "only a woman's room," a paper by the alternate prize the following year, his "Mei Baer" selected "new twenty-five who set"; same year, the "secrets" obtained a medium-length Award for the second gem.
