 丁已年七月二十一日禱雨中元水府入月六日展謝祠下皆被旨也然禱後越七日始雨神所為耶其不然也審自神出不無愆期之尤有如不然神之饕上賜也多矣為詩以問之

　　奉祝出閶闔，禱雨祠中元。
　　陳祠信已薦，拱俟心變虔。
　　山雲屢觸石，散去如飛煙。
　　慚衷迫秋陽，汗流頸徒延。
　　趑趄念亡狀，歸馬不敢鞭。
　　雲臺欲旬浹，蹇兆方解懸。
　　皇慈喜嘉霔，報貺禮弗偏。
　　謂乃百神功，共相成豐年。
　　遣昨緻祠吏，奔趨各如前。
　　我載謁水府，意惑口莫言。
　　黃屋四海心，責已湯未賢。
　　抑畏動黎庶，精誠格高圓。
　　正恐三日雨，新敕下九天。
　　神令享豐報，然乎其不然。
　　貪功認有者，鄙賤人所憐，
　　神聰冠四瀆，宜弗蹈爾愆。
　　益思贊元化，後郊圖所先。
　　小臣此將命，芒剌終未捐。
