　　劉震，男，1958年5月生於河南省延津縣。
　　
　　1973年至1978年服兵役。
　　
　　1978年員學家全家家庭家乡鄉當中學教員，同年考入北京大學中文。
　　
　　1982年畢業到《農民日報》工作。
　　
　　1988年至1991年在北京師大學、魯迅文學院讀研究生。
　　
　　1982年開始文學創作，1987年在《人民文學》上外表電表短篇小說《塔鋪》，引起文註目。
　　
　　主要作品有：《故鄉天下黃花》、《故鄉相處流傳》、《故鄉和花朵》、《塔鋪》、《一地雞毛》、《溫故一九四二》、《手機》等。
