　　李特（？－303年），字玄休，西晉末年巴氐人（一說為賨人），其父為李慕；十六國時期成漢國建立者李雄之父，是成漢政權的奠基者。
　　
　　李特祖籍為巴西郡宕渠縣（今中國四川省渠縣），其先祖後於曹魏時被遷至略陽（今中國甘肅省秦安縣）。李特身長八尺，在兄弟間排行第二，並與其兄弟都精於騎射，以武略聞名，鄉裏紛紛歸附李氏兄弟。西晉元康八年（298年），因齊萬年之亂使得關中發生饑荒，李特兄弟帶領秦雍二州六郡流民至巴蜀（今中國四川省）謀生，沿途照顧貧病，頗得人心。
　　
　　永康元年（300年）益州刺史趙廞眼見因八王之亂導致天下大亂，暗有割據巴蜀之意，遂厚待李特兄弟，以為黨羽。李特等人亦依靠趙廞的勢力，聚衆為盜，蜀人視為大患。
　　
　　然而趙廞對於李特兄弟很受部衆愛戴一事頗為恐懼，因此於次年（301年），找藉口殺死驍勇譱戰的李特之三弟李庠以及其子侄宗族，李特等兄弟深為怨恨，於是率衆攻破成都（今中國四川省成都市），趙廞兵敗被殺。朝廷另派羅尚入蜀任益州刺史。
　　
　　衕年，朝廷命秦雍二州召回流民，當時巴蜀流民遍布，受雇於人，而稲米尚未收成，以致沒有路費，聽說這件事都憂愁悲怨，不知道該怎麽辦。李特嚮羅尚請求延期而不獲允許，又因觀察到政府軍打算洗劫流民，遂起事攻擊政府軍，並被流民推為行（代理）鎮北大將軍。並與巴蜀居民約法三章，施捨人民，賑濟藉貸，禮賢下士，拔擢人才，軍紀及施政肅然，人民因此大為喜悅。李特不斷嚮成都進軍。次年（302年），自稱為大將軍、益州牧，都督梁、益二州諸軍事。
　　
　　303年，李特率軍攻入成都少城，改元建初，但不久因將部衆分散至外謀生，又中詐降之計，政府軍襲擊流民大營，李特戰敗被殺，屍首被焚毀，人頭送往洛陽。其弟李流接管其部衆。後來李特之子李雄稱王時，追謚李特為景王，等到稱帝時，再追謚為景皇帝，廟號為始祖。
