　　李特（？－303年），字玄休，西晋末年巴氐人（一说为賨人），其父为李慕；十六国时期成汉国建立者李雄之父，是成汉政权的奠基者。
　　
　　李特祖籍为巴西郡宕渠县（今中国四川省渠县），其先祖后于曹魏时被迁至略阳（今中国甘肃省秦安县）。李特身长八尺，在兄弟间排行第二，并与其兄弟都精于骑射，以武略闻名，乡里纷纷归附李氏兄弟。西晋元康八年（298年），因齐万年之乱使得关中发生饥荒，李特兄弟带领秦雍二州六郡流民至巴蜀（今中国四川省）谋生，沿途照顾贫病，颇得人心。
　　
　　永康元年（300年）益州刺史赵廞眼见因八王之乱导致天下大乱，暗有割据巴蜀之意，遂厚待李特兄弟，以为党羽。李特等人亦依靠赵廞的势力，聚众为盗，蜀人视为大患。
　　
　　然而赵廞对于李特兄弟很受部众爱戴一事颇为恐惧，因此于次年（301年），找借口杀死骁勇善战的李特之三弟李庠以及其子侄宗族，李特等兄弟深为怨恨，于是率众攻破成都（今中国四川省成都市），赵廞兵败被杀。朝廷另派罗尚入蜀任益州刺史。
　　
　　同年，朝廷命秦雍二州召回流民，当时巴蜀流民遍布，受雇于人，而稻米尚未收成，以致没有路费，听说这件事都忧愁悲怨，不知道该怎么办。李特向罗尚请求延期而不获允许，又因观察到政府军打算洗劫流民，遂起事攻击政府军，并被流民推为行（代理）镇北大将军。并与巴蜀居民约法三章，施舍人民，赈济借贷，礼贤下士，拔擢人才，军纪及施政肃然，人民因此大为喜悦。李特不断向成都进军。次年（302年），自称为大将军、益州牧，都督梁、益二州诸军事。
　　
　　303年，李特率军攻入成都少城，改元建初，但不久因将部众分散至外谋生，又中诈降之计，政府军袭击流民大营，李特战败被杀，尸首被焚毁，人头送往洛阳。其弟李流接管其部众。后来李特之子李雄称王时，追谥李特为景王，等到称帝时，再追谥为景皇帝，庙号为始祖。
