外壬,在甲骨文中被称作卜壬,姓子名发,商朝第十一任的国王。
外壬，生卒年不详。商王太戊子，商王仲丁弟。仲丁死后继位。在位15年，病死，葬于狄泉。仲丁死后,
外壬成功地夺取王位,并向诸弟妥协,造成了商王朝继承上的混乱,史称九世之乱。商朝开始衰落。
外壬死后，由其弟河亶甲继位。
