外壬,在甲骨文中被稱作卜壬,姓子名發,商朝第十一任的國王。
外壬，生卒年不詳。商王太戊子，商王仲丁弟。仲丁死後繼位。在位15年，病死，葬於狄泉。仲丁死後,
外壬成功地奪取王位,並嚮諸弟妥協,造成了商王朝繼承上的混亂,史稱九世之亂。商朝開始衰落。
外壬死後，由其弟河亶甲繼位。
