　　商代天子,為商朝第8位國王,為商王小甲之弟,商王太戊之兄。商王小甲死後即位，在位12年,荒廢政事,商朝開始衰落。死後由弟太戊繼位。
　　歷史記載
　　《史記》雲：“帝小甲崩，弟雍己立，是為帝雍己。”
　　商朝從商湯至雍己即位前一百多年，由於堅持節用寬民、以德治商的政策，社會經濟得到穩定發展。但是，長期的和平安穩，也助長了商王室的不思進取。《史記》說，至雍己即位時，“殷道衰，諸侯或不至”。可見各諸侯的勢力日趨膨脹，商王室的權利有所削弱。
