The Dragon Boat Festival
The wild Chinese mugworts from the fields
Hanging over the bittersweet days
The calami from the streams
Hanging over the peaceful and safe dreams
Zongzi is luscious in love
Dragon boats have been rejoicing in years
The folk and unprompted festival
Is the blooming bud of popular feelings
Ah, the suffered aspersions and banished minister
Ah, the poet dived into river and died for his country
Qu Yuan, the poetic ancestor of mine
You gave your life back to nature
Only left your poems to light history
The people, oh, is my mother
Thinking of Qu Yuan's allegiance by living
Reproducing Qu Yuan's state of mind with customs
Oh, the Dragon Boat Festival
The only festival in the world
That the anniversary of the poet's death
Has been beautified to the festival of common people
The only nation in the world
Use our hearts beautified by Chinese mugworts and
calami
Use our tears over the sky caused by dragons in rivers
To call back the dead spirit in thousands of years
On the earth on which Chinese poems unfold like flowers
民间的端阳
乡村的野艾
挂上又苦又香的日子
溪边的菖蒲
挂出平安祝福的梦境
粽子在爱情里香甜
龙舟在岁月中欢腾
民间自发的节日呵
民心绽放的花蕾……
呵，遭谗流放的三闾大夫
呵，投江殉国的悲愤诗人
我的诗祖啊，屈原
您把生命还给自然
只留诗句照亮历史
我的母亲呵，人民
用生活怀念屈原的忠贞
用风俗再现屈原的心魂
哦，端阳
这世界的唯一啊
诗人的忌日
美丽成百姓的节日
我唯一的民族啊
用野艾和菖蒲美化的心扉
用龙腾江河的漫天泪雨
在花开汉诗的大地上
在千年万年地 招 魂……

先看看前两句
"The Dragon Boat Festival in Folk "
'in Folk', 听起来有点儿怪。 直接说'The Dragon Boat Festival'不行吗？
"The wild Chinese mugworts from villages " 乡村的野艾
我 想“乡村”这里也就是指生长在田间的吧。Then
...mugwrots in the fields
The calami from streams 溪边的菖蒲 , 同样
the calami by the streams
"from",给我这两种植物已经拔下来了的意思。
"Hanging the bittersweet days "
'hang', 直接用动词原形更贴近。

谢谢 Lake 君！folk 形容词才有民间的意思，原放前面，有人嫌定语太多，建议放在后面平衡些。经你点醒，我一查，名词无此意。盲目听别人意见也不对啊。
在门上挂菖莆野艾，多是城镇人家，农家扯来送进城镇卖钱，所以用了 from.
其它几个具体意见接受。

问道模和LAKE 好! Hang the bittersweet days 也许用 Hanging over the bittersweet days 较妥. 否则读者会以为你把the bittersweet days 吊死了呢.
