　　吐蕃论恐热乘武宗卒后，唐廷忙于治丧，诱党项及回纥余部侵扰河西（今宁夏、甘肃中部地区）。宣宗命河东节度使王宰率代北诸军讨击。宰以沙陀酋长朱邪赤心为前锋，与论恐热战于盐州，恐热率众逃奔。
