道類收錄古代道及道教的書,如《老子註》、《周易參同契》等。
先秦時期的一個思想派,以老子、莊子為主要代。道的思想崇尚自然,有辯證法的因素和無神論的傾,同時主張清靜無為,反對爭。
道歷史史起源
道思想的核心是“道”,認為“道”,是宇宙的本源,也是統治宇宙中一切運動的法則。老子曾在他的著作中說:“有物混成,先天地生。蕭呵!寥呵!獨立而不改,可以為天地母。吾未知其名,強名之曰道”(《老子》第25章)
"太史公"司馬遷的父親西漢太史令司馬談曾寫過名為《論六要旨》一文,把先秦學派概括為道、儒、墨、名、法、陰陽六,闡述六要旨和得失。他說:“道使人精神專一,動無形,贍足萬物。其為也,因陰陽之大順,儒墨之善,撮名法之要,與時遷移,應物變化,立俗施事,無所不宜,指約而易,事少而功多。”“其以虛無為本,以因循為用。無成埶,無常形,故能究萬物之情。不為物先,不為物,故能為萬物主。”
西漢初年,漢文帝、漢景帝以道思想治國,使人民從秦朝苛政中得以休養生息。歷史稱之為文景之治。 其,儒學者董仲舒漢武帝提倡“罷黜百,獨尊儒”的政策,被世帝王納。道從此成為非主流思想。 雖然道并州未被官方納,但繼續在中國古代思想的展中扮演重要角色。魏晉玄學,宋明理學都揉受不了道思想展而成。佛教傳入中國,也受到道的影響,禪宗在諸多方面受到莊子的啓。 道在先秦各學派中,雖然沒有儒和墨這麽多的門徒,地位也不如儒崇高。但隨着歷史的展,道思想以其獨特的宇宙、社會和人生領悟,在哲學思想上呈現出永恆的價值與生命力。
道思想來被張魯的五米道等宗教吸收,演變成中國的重要宗教之一——道教。魏晉風流在清談玄學時更着重煉丹。因此,道與道教常被人混淆。(張魯,又稱張道陵,“五米道”的創立者,也被認為是道教的創始者)。
道基本觀點
道哲學首先擺脫儒社會哲學的進路,直接從天道運行的原理側切入,開展以自然義、中性義為主的"道"的哲學。天道運行有其自然而然的原理在,道的哲學即在解明此一原理性內涵,而得以提出一個活潑自在的世界空間。透過對此一世界運行秩序之無定限、無執着的認識,道哲學展出迥然不同於儒的社會哲學,社會是一方存在的客,在其中生存的人們,應有其獨立自存的自由性,而不受任何意識型態的束縛。基本上道哲學並不否定儒的社會理想,但對於社會責任的態度並不先存立場,而能有更尊重人類自主性的態度與存在定位。
道重視人性的自由與解放。解放 一方面是人的知識能力的解放,另方面是人的生活心境的解放,前者提出“為學日益、為道日損”、“此亦一是非彼亦一是非”的認識原理,者提出“謙”、“弱”、“柔”、“心齋”、“ 坐忘”、“化蝶”等的生活功夫來面對世界。 道講究“人天一”、“人天相應”、“ 為而不爭、利而不害”,“修之於身,其德乃真”, "虛心實腹"、“乘天地之正,而六氣之辯,以遊無窮”, "法於陰陽,以應冗,以簡應繁。" 等等。
有學者認為,道的社會哲學不是進取的,積極的,因為社會是天道的過程,而不是目的本身。道認為儒的社會理想是理的,但不是絶對的,因此基本上並不需要提出一套决定性的社會理想,因為天道變化,本身無所謂絶對的是非善惡之性能,因而道強調得更多的是在社會中生存的智慧原理,而且這智慧必須是能應在任何歷史情境的社會之中都行之有效的生存之道。也就因為道的社會哲學不以自己展規格為主,而強調應對的智慧,因此利於人們休養生息的需求,故而讓漢初的黃老之治有實驗的理論基礎。同時也安定一千千秋百年來中國士大夫失意於儒本位的官場文化之,也能有一大的心性世界以順遂人生。
道的哲學思想
重要哲學家之思想
道的理論奠定於老子,老子《道德經》一書上下五言,字字珠璣,書中論道的形上學義、人生智慧義,提出一種有物混成且獨立自存之自然宇宙起源論,也提出世界存在與運行原理是"反者道之動"的本論思想,對於存活於其中的人類而言,其應學習的就是處世的智慧,於是老子也提出衆多的政治、社會與人生哲學觀點出來,但重點都在保身修身而不在文明的開創,可以說他是以一套宗本於智慧之道的社會哲學與理論來應對混亂的世局,而無意製造社會的新氣象,因為那些都不是大道之本。
莊子是老子之道理論最重要開創者,道哲學基本上也就是老莊二型而已。莊子的道學不同於老學之處,在於莊子更詳地處理人與自然的關係、人的可開創能力,包括智慧上、認識能力上、身體能量上等等。莊子同樣站在天道自然的命題基礎上,提出從人的自我修養到面對整個社會國的處世之道,莊子書內七篇之作,就是他從世界觀到知識論到工夫論到社會哲學的內聖外王之道的理論。
列子,戰國時人。現存有的《列子》八篇 是東晉張湛所輯 一般認為該書反映戰國至魏晉間的思想。《列子》從道思想出并州對道思想中無為的人生觀有所改造 強調人在自然天地間的積極作用 認為人在一種不任強使力的生存狀態下,不憂天 不畏天 是最好的生存狀態。
王弼,三國時代人。當兩漢經學的展已到尾聲,社會政治一直在動亂與不義的情境中,知識份子轉玄學清談的風氣,王弼以其對老子哲學的深切悟,註解老子《道德經》一書,重用之分 有無之不但展出詮釋老學的宗旨:"貴無"的精神,以此原理註解《易經》,甚至還因此改變從漢易以來言象數易學的氣化宇宙論而將易經的研究方向代之以純粹玄學思想 使中國易學史走一個嶄新的局。
郭象,西晉人,以《莊子註》聞名,主張“獨化”理論 是一種從高度抽象思維當中所展出來的的玄學式概念理論 認為宇宙萬物都生於偶然的"玄冥"境界 因此提倡一種物無大小 各順其適之精神,平等尊重每一個生命的人生觀。
道發達展時期
有學者認為,道起源應為遠古的隱士傳統,當然也有學者說老子是清廟之守,總之,道的起源絶不是社會政治的積極參與者,他們從旁觀察世局,認真思索宇宙的真象,使用着抽象度高且不帶意識型態的執着的語言,描述天道與人事變化的法則,屬於原理性研究的層次是他們的專長。當先秦的老莊二子總攝整理道思想的綱領之,道形上思想的深度立刻影響儒與法的形上思想,儒《易傳》之作與韓非子《解老》之作都是在其理論基礎上建立起來的新說。但是在社會政治的實際影響力上,老子之學要到漢初黃老之治的實施高才口才奴才蠢才天才人才之才英才多才賢才群才唯才幹才詩才降才五才乏才文才懷才奇才才能才路才力才高才伐才格才望才理才思才郎才哲才智才雄才英才情才分才略才貌才人才子才疏正式被試驗着,因為在迭經春、戰國、滅秦、楚漢之爭之社會戰亂終告停止之時,人們終於現爭強爭的害處以及休養生息的重要,於是老學原理的政治哲學觀點遂被重視。等到西漢強盛,君王開始好大喜功,爭戰的歲月再度啓幕,時代的風氣再度轉變,然也再度敗壞,等到魏晉清談之風起,道哲學又開始它的生命力,何晏、王弼首開其風,王弼更以簡潔有力的註經之作,從理論上深入道之學予以闡,而秀、郭象則展莊學的註釋工作。魏晉之,道思想未有鮮明的創造傳統之再現,但是道思想的理路卻轉為道教、易學與儒學理論的開創所藉用的重要啓示,尤其是源自莊子的氣化宇宙觀,更被泛且深度地再開着。而同一時期的佛學傳播,亦曾有一斷相當長的時間是以道“無”的智慧原理來達的,此即世稱“格義佛學 ”時期。
道對中國文化的貢獻
道對中國文化的貢獻是與儒同等重要,是在政治思想上一為顯一為裹藏之而已。而道在理論能力上的深厚度與辯證性,則為中國哲學思想中所有其它傳統提供創造力的泉源。至於道文化在中國藝、繪畫、文學、雕刻等各方面的影響,則是占據絶對性的優勢主導地位,即使說中國藝的現即為道藝的現亦不為過。當然,道哲學對中國政治活動也提供活絡的空間,使得中國知識份子不會因着有太強的儒本位的政治理想而執着於官場的追逐與性命的投入,而能更輕地現進退之道,理解出入之間的智慧。
對道的理解
道可道非常道,名可名非常名。
這兩句話是老子最高深的思想,但其實也是最淺顯的道理。
其實兩句話是一個意思。
實際拆分,應該是:道,可道,非常道。也可以拆成:道可,道非,常道。意思很簡單,但也非常多,就像怪石大山一樣,不同的人看到的也不一樣。沒有定論,這就是道德經最玄妙最高深的地方,其實也是這句話的意思。
道,天地之道。可道,人人皆可得道。非常道,但世間之道皆非永恆之道。(有的版本為非恆道)起來就是:天地之道,實際乃是人人皆可得之道,但世間萬物,道道道,皆非恆道。還不夠白?那就在白一些吧!
白丁翻譯文:天王老子定的規則,實際沒有那麽雜,人人要用心觀察周圍,熱愛生活、享受生活,就能悟出這個“玄而又玄”的道。但是不要忘記,世界上所有道,都不是永恆的,所有事物都有生,自然也有死。老子的這本道德經也不是真理的化身,早晚也會被推翻取代。而實際上,這世間無恆道的道理,就是天地萬物之道。
道可,道非,常道,其實也大致是這個道理。
道可,道可以左右天地萬物。
道非,但是再大的道也有被推翻、被打倒的時候。
常道,世間唯一的常道就是此道,萬物皆有始有終。
這兩拆法的意思都是一樣的,其實你可以試試,把這六個字,不管用什麽方法拆,意思都是一樣的,這也精妙的應扣道萬物循環、太極常轉的中心思想。這就是老子的最大智慧。

道創始人介紹
. 老子,根《史記》的記載,姓李,名耳,謚曰聃,字伯陽,楚國苦縣(今渦陽縣)人。約生活於前571年至471年之間,曾做過周朝的守藏史。老子是我國人民熟知的一位古代偉大思想,他所撰述的《道德經》開創我國古代哲學思想的先河。他的哲學思想和由他創立的道學派,不但對我國古代思想文化的展,作出重要貢獻,而且對我國2000多年來思想文化的展,産生深遠的影響。
老子降生
公元前576年夏六月,宋國國君共公去世,右師華元執掌國政。以左師魚石為首的桓氏宗族久有謀政之心,無奈共公在位,不得其手。今見共公去世,欲乘機起事。由於謀事不密,走漏風聲,被以華元為首的戴氏宗族逐出宋國。此,即任戎為左師、老佐為司馬、樂裔為司寇;立新君,這就是宋平公。
魚石率桓氏宗族一行二百人逃往楚國,客居楚國三年。公元前573年夏六月,楚國起兵伐宋,攻剋宋國的彭城(今江蘇徐州),封魚石、魚府守城,留下三百乘戰車協助鎮守。
宋平王為此召朝臣議事,問道:“敵強我弱,楚兵侵占彭城,是我心腹!如坐視不理,患無窮!誰為我拔此要塞?”話音剛落,班中走出一人道:“愚臣往!”平王一看,見此人身高丈二,濃眉大眼,闊腮寬肩,威武雄健,原來是司馬老佐。華元示憂慮,對平王說:“魚石狡詐,魚府兇殘,彭城盤踞着楚國戰車三百、守卒三,力量很強。司馬雖藝高膽大、剛健勇猛,恐難必。”老佐理說道:“魚石,蛀書之也;魚府,縛雞之犬也。有何懼哉!老佐攜小以圍彭城,城不臣不歸!”平王允諾。遣老佐為上將軍,率二萬人馬去收彭城。
話說宋國圍住彭城,日夜攻打。老佐英勇威武,身先士卒,使得宋軍士氣大振,不到半月,彭城守軍便危在旦夕。一日,魚石、魚府在城上督戰,見宋軍人多如蟻,個個奮勇,架梯登城,人人爭先;又見一員大將銀盔銀甲、金戈白馬,馳騁於疆場之上,調兵遣將。一楚將問道:“這位宋將是誰?”魚石答道:“是新任司馬、圍兵主將老佐。”楚將紛紛議論說:“攻城主將,不在軍觀敵陣,卻突於軍前左馳右騁,怎能不鼓舞士氣!如此看來,彭城太危險!”但魚石是個有心計的人,他又對部下說:“事將成而敗,事將敗而成,歷史上有不少例子,怎知我軍必敗?老佐英勇雄武,身先士卒,這是他成功之本;剛愎自用,目中無人,這又是他失敗之根。又怎知他的軍隊必?”楚將問:“左師好像成竹在胸,有什麽好計策?”魚石答說:“兩軍相對,帥在前還是在,要見機行事。現在宋兵攻城,主將突出在前,冒着箭矢而馳騁,這是兵的大忌呀!我有一條小計,如果照計行事,宋軍成敗,還很難說。”
原來魚石是讓部下放暗箭,射殺老佐,老佐正在軍前督戰,忽然飛來一箭,入胸五寸。不幸墜馬身亡。宋軍群竜無首,潰不成軍,四散逃竄。
老佐眷屬正處宋營軍帳中,有侍女、十數將、數十侍衛。忽聞老佐陣亡,又見潰軍如潮涌來,衆將急忙駕車,保老夫人奔逃。且戰且逃,至傍晚,追兵雖已不見,但老夫人身旁僅剩下兩名侍女、一位駕車將。將不敢稍停,披星戴月,摸黑前行,慌不擇路,沿西南方向奔去。第二日天明時分,來到一個偏僻村莊,村民問去宋都之路,均搖頭說不知。將知應西行,豈知早已偏南。一行四人繞小道,行程七日,仍不見宋都,卻來到陳國相邑(今河南鹿邑東)。正行之時,老夫人突覺腹中疼痛。原來老夫人已有七月身孕,老佐為踐君前諾言,以必之心攜眷出。此時兵敗,老夫人又有喪夫之悲,亡命他國,心中焦慮,身體疲勞,以至腹中胎動,疼痛難忍。侍女驚慌無措,將忙停車於路旁,奔至村中尋一老婦前來。不過刻時光,聽篷車之內響起“哇哇”哭聲,一個早産男嬰出世,這便是老佐之子──老子。老子降生,弱而頭大,眉寬而耳闊,目如深淵珠清澈,鼻含雙梁中如轍。因其雙耳長大,故起名為“聃”;因其出生於庚寅虎年(公元前571年),親鄰們又呼之曰小狸兒,即“小老虎”之意。因江淮間人們把“貓”喚作“狸兒”,音同“李耳”。久而久之,老聃小名“狸兒”便成為大名“李耳 ”一代一代傳下來。
接生老婦見母子可憐,讓一行五口住進自己中。老丈以開藥店為生,陳姓,人稱陳老爹,所以都稱老婦為陳媽媽。陳媽媽膝下無兒無女,為人厚道熱情,讓出三間西廂房,留老夫人一居住。老夫人在危難之際,遇此善良之人,心中感激不;雖說戰亂中顛沛流離,畢竟出於大戶人,隨身攜帶細軟尚夠度日。加之將常幫陳老爹營生,二位侍女料理務,老幼五口,日子過得也還滋潤。從此,宋國戰將老佐的妻兒便在陳國住下來。
聰穎少年
老聃自幼聰慧,靜思好學,常纏着將要聽國興衰、戰爭成敗、祭祀占卜、觀星測象之事。老夫人望子成竜,請一精通殷商禮樂的商容老先生教授。商容通天文地理,博古今禮儀,深受老聃一敬重。
一日,商容教授道:“天地之間人為貴,衆人之中王為本。”老聃問道:“天為何物?”先生道:“天者,在上之清清者也。”老聃又問:“清清者又是何物?”先生道;“清清者,太空是也。”“太空之上,又是何物?”先生道:“太空之上,清之清者也。”“之上又是何物?”“清之清者之上,更為清清之清者也。”老聃又問。“清者窮處為何物?”先生道:“先賢未傳,古籍未載,愚師不敢妄言。”夜晚,老聃以其疑惑問其母,母不能答;問將,將不能言。於是仰頭觀日月星辰,低首思天上之天為何物,徹夜不能寐。
又一日,商老先生教授道:“六之中,天地人物存焉。天有天道,地有地理,人有人倫,物有物性、有天道,故日月星辰可行也;有地理,故山川江海可成也;有人倫,故尊卑長幼可分也。有物性,故長短堅脆可也。”老聃問道:“日月星辰,何人推而行之?山川江海,何人造而成之?尊卑長幼,何人定而分之?長短堅脆,何人而之?”先生道:“皆神所為也。”老聃問道。“神何以可為也?”先生道:“神有變化之能。造物之功,故可為也。”老聃問:“神之能何由而來?神之功何時而備?”先生道:“先師未傳,古籍未載,愚師不敢妄言。”夜晚,老聃以其疑惑問其母,母不能答。問將,將不能言。於是視物而思,觸物而類,三日不知飯味。
又一日,商先生教授道:“君者,代天理世者也;民者,君之所者也。君不行天意則廢,民不順君牧則罪,此乃治國之道也。”老聃問道:“民生非為君也,不順君牧則其理可解。君生乃天之意也,君背天意是何道理?”先生道:“神遣君代天理世。君生則如將在外也;將在外則君命有所不受。君出世則天意有所不領。”老聃問道:“神有變化之能,造物之功,何以不造聽命之君乎?”先生道:“先聖未傳,古籍未載,愚師不敢妄言。”夜晚,老聃以其疑惑問其母,母不能答;問將,將不能言。於是求教相邑之士,踏遍相邑之土,遇雨不知濕,迎風不覺吹。
一日,商老先生教授道:“天下之事,和為貴。失和則交兵,交兵則相殘,相殘則兩傷,兩傷則有害而無益。故與人利則利己,與人禍則禍己。”老聃問道:“天下失和,百姓之大害也,君何以不治?”先生道:“民爭,乃失小和也;失小和則得小禍,然而君可以治也。國爭,乃失大和也;失大和則得大禍,大禍者,君之過也,何以自治?”老聃問:“君不可自治,神何以不治?”先生道:“先哲未傳,古籍未載,愚師不敢妄言。”夜晚,老聃以其疑惑問其母,母不能答;問將,將不能言。於是,遍訪相邑之士,遍讀相邑之書,遇暑不知暑,遇寒不知寒。
入周求學
商老先生教授三年,來老夫人辭行道:“老夫識淺,聃兒思敏,三年而老夫之學授??
今來辭行,非老夫教授無終也,非聃兒學之不勤也。實乃老夫之學有。聃兒求之無窮,以有供無窮,不亦乎?聃兒,志遠圖宏之童也;相邑,偏僻閉塞之地也。若欲剔璞而為玉,需入周都而求深造。
周都,典籍如海,賢士如,天下之聖地也,非入其內而難以成大器。“老夫人聞聽此言,心中犯難:一乃聃兒年方十三,宋都尚且難返,去周都豈不如登九天?二乃老氏留此根,怎放心他孤身獨行?正猶豫不知怎麽答,不料先生已猜知其為難處,忙說:“以實相告,老夫師兄為周太學博士,學識淵博,心胸曠達,愛敬賢,以樹人為生,以助賢為樂,以薦賢為任。養神童數位,皆由民間選來。不要衣食供給,待之如親生子女。
博士聞老夫言,知聃兒好學善思,聰慧超常,久一見。近日有前仆數人路經此地,特致書老夫,意欲帶聃兒去周。此乃載難逢之良機,務望珍惜!”老夫人聽,不禁悲喜交集。喜先生保薦,使聃兒有緣入周,登竜門有路;悲母子分,何日能見?思至此,好似聃兒已在鄰里里程之外,不覺心酸難抑,潸然淚下。老聃撲人母親懷中,泣言道:“母親勿傷心,聃兒决不負老師厚望,待我業成功就,定然早日來接母親!”說罷,母子二人相抱而泣。
哭之良久,母子二人轉而為喜,拜謝先生舉薦之恩。三天,全家與商老先生送老聃至五之外。老聃一一跪拜,上馬隨博士前仆西行而去。老夫人遙望聃兒身影遠去,方纔濃郁郁郁葱葱入車,悶悶返。”
老聃入周,拜見博士,入太學,天文、地理、人倫,無所不學,《詩》《書》《易》《》《禮》《樂》無所不覽,文物、典章、史書無所不習,三年而大有長進。博士又薦其入守藏室為吏。守藏室是周朝典籍收藏之所,集天下之文,收天下之書,汗牛充棟,無所不有。老聃處其中,如蛟竜遊入大海,海闊憑竜躍;如雄鷹展翅藍天,天高任鳥飛。老聃如饑似渴,博覽泛觀,漸臻佳境,通禮樂之源,明道德之旨,三年又遷任守藏室史,名聞遐邇,聲播海內。
教授孔丘
老聃居周日久,學問日深,聲名日響。春時稱學識淵博者為“子”,以示尊敬,因此,人們皆稱老聃為“老子”。
公元前538年的一天,孔子對弟子南宮敬叔說:“周之守藏室史老聃,博古通今,知禮樂之源,明道德之要。今吾欲去周求教,汝同去否?”南宮敬叔欣然同意,隨即報請魯君。魯君行。遣一車二馬一童一,由南宮敬叔陪孔子前往。老子見孔丘鄰里里程迢迢而來,非常高興,教授之,又引孔丘訪大夫萇弘。萇弘善樂,授孔丘樂律、樂理;引孔丘觀祭神之典,考宣教之地,察廟會禮儀,使孔丘感嘆不已,益不淺。逗留數日。孔丘老子辭行。老聃送至館之外,贈言道:“吾聞之,富貴者送人以財,仁義者送人以言。吾不富不貴,無財以送汝;以數言相送。當今之世,聰明而深察者,其所以遇難而至於死,在於好譏人之非也;善辯而通達者,其所以招禍而屢至於身,在於好揚人之惡也。為人之子,勿以己為高;為人之臣,勿以己為上,望汝切記。”孔丘頓首道:“弟子一定謹記在心!”
行至黃河之濱,見河水滔滔,濁浪翻滾,其勢如萬馬奔騰,其聲如虎吼雷鳴。孔丘伫立岸邊,不覺嘆曰:“逝者如斯夫,不晝夜!黃河之水奔騰不息,人之年華流逝不止,河水不知何處去,人生不知何處歸?”聞孔丘此語,老子道:“人生天地之間,乃與天地一也。天地,自然之物也;人生,亦自然之物;人有幼、少、壯、老之變化,猶如天地有春、夏、、鼕之交替,有何悲乎?生於自然,死於自然,任其自然,則本性不亂;不任自然,奔忙於仁義之間,則本性羈絆。功名存於心,則焦慮之情生;利欲留於心,則煩惱之情增。”孔丘解釋道:“吾乃憂大道不行,仁義不施,戰亂不止,國亂不治也,故有人生短暫,不能有功於世、不能有為於民之感嘆矣 ”
老子道:“天地無人推而自行,日月無人燃而自明,星辰無人列而自序,禽獸無人造而自生,此乃自然為之也,何勞人為乎?人之所以生、所以無、所以榮、所以辱,皆有自然之理、自然之道也。順自然之理而趨,遵自然之道而行,國則自治,人則自正,何津津於禮樂而倡仁義哉?津津於禮樂而倡仁義,則違人之本性遠矣!猶如人擊鼓尋求逃跑之人,擊之愈響,則人逃跑得愈遠矣!”
稍停片刻,老子手指浩浩黃河,對孔丘說:“汝何不學水之大德歟?”孔丘曰:“水有何德?”老子說:“上善若水:水善利萬物而不爭,處衆人之所惡,此乃謙下之德也;故江海所以能為百王者,以其善下之,則能為百王。天下莫柔弱於水,而攻堅強者莫之能,此乃柔德也;故柔之剛,弱之強堅。因其無有,故能入於無間,由此可知不言之教、無為之益也。”孔丘聞言,恍然大悟道:“先生此言,使我頓開茅塞也:衆人處上,水獨處下;衆人處易,水獨處險;衆人處潔,水獨處穢。所處人之所惡,夫誰與之爭乎?此所以為上善也。”老子點頭說:“汝可教也!汝可切記:與世無爭,則天下無人能與之爭,此乃效法水德也。水於道:道無所不在,水無所不利,避高趨下,未嘗有所逆,善處地也;空處湛靜,深不可測。善為淵也;損而不竭,施不求報,善為仁也;圜必旋,方必,塞必止,决必流,善守信也;洗滌群穢,平高下,善治物也;以載則浮,以鑒則清,以攻則堅強莫能敵,善用能也;不晝夜,盈科進,善待時也。故聖者隨時而行,賢者應事而變;智者無為而治,達者順天而生。汝此去,應去驕氣於言,除志欲於容貌。否則,人未至而聲已聞,未至而風已動,張張揚揚,如虎行於大街,誰敢用你?”孔丘道:”先生之言,出自肺腑而入弟子之心脾,弟子受益匪淺,終生難忘。弟子將遵奉不怠,以謝先生之恩。”說完,告別老子,與南宮敬叔上車,依依不地魯國駛去。
到魯國,衆弟子問道:“先生拜訪老子,可得見乎?”孔子道:“見之!”弟子問。“老子何樣?”孔子道:“鳥,我知它能飛;魚,吾知它能遊;獸,我知它能走。走者可用網縛之,遊者可用鈎釣之,飛者可用箭取之,至於竜,吾不知其何以?竜乘風而上九天也!吾所見老子也,其猶竜乎?學識淵深而莫測,志趣高邈而難知;如蛇之隨時屈伸,如竜之應時變化。老聃,真吾師也!'”
高論生死
話說老聃任周守藏室史,數次歸省親,欲勸母親隨之去周;其母在陳國相邑住久,人熟地熟,不遠遷。日月如梭,光陰荏苒,轉眼間已過三十年。一日,老聃忽得訊,言母病危,於是報請天子,歸省視。待到時,母已辭世。面對茫茫大地上一堆黃土,思想九泉之下母親之靈,憶母親慈祥容貌、養育之恩,老聃悲痛欲絶,寢食俱廢,席地而坐,沉思冥想,忽自己愚鈍;順理追索,恍然大悟,如釋重負,愁苦消解,頓覺腹饑倦。於是飽餐一頓,倒頭大睡。
將、侍女皆感奇怪,待其醒來,問其緣故。老聃答道:“人生於世,有情有智。有情,故人倫諧和而相溫相暖;有智,故明理通達而理事不亂。情者,智之附也;智者,情之主也。以情通智,則人昏庸而事顛倒;以智統情,則人聰慧而事度。母親生聃,恩重如山。今母辭聃而去,聃之情難斷。情難斷,人之常情也。難斷而不以智統,則亂矣,故悲而不欲生。今聃端坐而沉思,忽然智來,以智統情,故情可節制而事可調理也。情得以,事得以理,於是腹中饑而欲食,滋倦而欲睡。 ”
將問道:“智何以統情?”
“人之生,皆由無而至有也;由無至有,必由有而返無也。無聃之母及聃之時,無母子之情也;有聃之母及聃,始有母子之情也;母去聃留,母已無情而子獨有情也;母聃皆無之時,則於情亦無也。人情未有之時與人情返無之不亦無乎?無而沉溺於情、悲不欲生,不亦愚乎?故骨肉之情難斷矣,人皆如此,於情也;難斷而不,則背自然之理也。背自然之理則愚矣!聃思至此,故食欲損而睡可眠矣。”衆人聞之,心皆豁然曠達。
函著書
周敬王二年(公元前518年),老聃守喪期滿返周。周敬王四年(公元前5l6年),周王室生內亂,王子朝率兵攻下劉公之邑。周敬王受迫。當時晉國強盛,出兵救援周敬王。王子朝勢孤,與舊僚攜周王室典籍逃亡楚國。老聃蒙受失職之責,受牽連而辭舊職。於是離宮歸隱,騎一青牛,欲出函關,西遊秦國。
離開周王朝洛邑不遠,但見四野一片荒涼。斷垣頽壁,井欄摧,阡陌錯斷,田園荒蕪,枯草瑟瑟。田野不見耕之馬,大道上卻戰馬奔馳不息,有的馬還拖着大肚子艱難地尾追其。目睹此景,老聃心如刀絞,內心想道:“夫兵者,不祥之器也,非君子之器。不得已而用之,適可而止,恬淡為上。而不必自美,自美者乃樂殺人也。夫樂殺人者,不可以得志於天下矣!以道佐人主者,不以兵強天下。兵之所處,荊棘生焉;大兵之,必有兇年。天下有道,卻走馬以糞;天下無道,則戎馬生於郊。戎馬生於郊,則國亂破矣。”
話說函關守關官員關尹,少時即好觀天文、愛讀古籍,修養深厚。一日夜晚,獨立樓觀之上凝視星空,忽見東方紫聚集,其長三萬,形如飛竜,由東西滾滾而來,自語道:“紫氣東來三萬,聖人西行經此地。青牛緩緩載老翁,藏形匿跡混元氣。”關尹早聞老聃大名,心想莫非是老子將來?於是派人清掃道路四十,夾道焚香,以迎聖人。
七月十二日午,夕陽西斜,光華東射。關尹正欲下關查看,忽見關下稀落行人中有一老者,倒騎青牛而來。老者白如雪,其眉垂鬢,其耳垂肩,其垂膝,紅顔素袍,簡潔淨。關尹仰天而嘆道:“我生有幸。得見聖人!”三步作兩步,奔上前去,跪於青牛前拜道:“關尹叩見聖人 ”
老子見叩拜之人方臉、厚唇、濃眉、端鼻,威嚴而不冷酷,柔慈而無媚態,早知非一般常人,故意試探道:“關令大人叩拜貧賤老翁,非常之禮也!老夫不敢承當,不知有何見教?”關尹道:“老丈,聖人也!務求留宿關以指修行之途。”老子道:“老夫有何神聖之處,受你如此厚愛?慚愧慚愧,羞殺老夫矣?”關尹道:“ 關尹不;好觀天文略知變化。見紫氣東來,知有聖人西行,見紫氣浩蕩,滾滾如竜,其長三萬。知來者至聖至尊,非通常之聖也;見紫氣之首白繚繞,知聖人白,是老翁之狀;見紫氣之前有青牛星相牽,知聖人乘青牛而來也。”
老子聽罷,哈哈大笑:“過奬、過奬!老夫亦早聞你大名,特來拜會。”關尹聞言大喜,叩頭不迭。之,關尹引老子至官,請老子上坐,焚香而行弟子之禮,懇求道:“先生乃當今大聖人也!聖人者,不以一己之智竊為己有,必以天下人智為己任也。今汝將隱居而不仁,求教者必難尋矣!何不將汝之聖智著為書?關尹雖淺陋,代先生傳於世,流芳古,造福萬代。”
老聃允諾,以王朝興衰成敗、百姓安危禍福為鑒,溯其源,著上、下兩篇,共五言。上篇起首為“道可道,非常道;名可名,非常名”,故人稱《道經》。下篇起首為“上德不德,是以有德;下德不失德,是以無德”,故人稱為《德經》,稱《道德經》。《道經》言宇宙本根,含天地變化之機,藴陰陽變幻之妙;下篇《德經》,言處世之方,含人事進退之,藴長生久視之道。關尹得之,如至寶,終日默誦,如饑似渴。

點化陽子居
一日,老聃騎牛行至梁(今河南開封)之郊外,正閉目養神,忽聞有人大呼“先生”。老聃聞聲,睜開雙目,現是弟子陽子居。
陽子居,魏國人,入周太學,聞老子淵博,曾私拜老子為師。沒想到在梁會與老子相遇,陽子居慌忙從高頭大馬上翻身而下,掀起錦緑長袍,跪拜於老聃所乘青牛前。老聃下來,扶起陽子居,與之相同行。
老聃問道:“弟子近來忙於何事?”
陽子居施禮道:“來此訪先祖居,購置房産,修飾梁棟,招聘役,整治規。”
老聃道:“有臥身之地、飲食之處則足矣,何需如此張揚?”
陽子居道:“先生修身,坐需寂靜,行需弛,飲需素清,臥需安寧,非有深宅獨戶,何以能如此?置深宅獨戶,不招役,不備用具,何以能撐之?招聘役,置備用具,不立規,何以能治之?”
老聃笑道:“大道自然,何強自靜。行無求而自,飲無奢而自清,臥無欲而自寧。修身何需深宅?腹饑而食,乏而息,日出而作,日落而寢。居何需衆役?順自然而無為,則神安健;背自然而營營,則神亂而損。”
陽子居知己淺陋,慚愧道:“弟子鄙俗,多謝先生指教。”
老聃問。“安居何處?”
陽於居道:“沛(今江蘇沛縣)。”
老聃說:“正好相伴同行。”陽子居很高興。欣然與老師結伴東而行。行至難水,二人乘船而渡。老聃牽牛而先登,陽子居引馬而上。老聃慈容笑貌。與同渡乘客談笑融融;陽子居昂首挺胸,客人見之施之以座,船主見之奉茶獻巾。難水過,二人騎牲繼續前行。老聃嘆道:“剛纔觀你神態,昂首挺胸,傲視旁人,唯己獨尊,狂妄自大,不可教也。”陽子居帶愧色,懇言道:“弟子習慣成自然,一定改之!”老聃道“君子與人處,若冰釋於水,與人共事,如童謙下;潔白無瑕而似含垢藏污,德性厚而似鄙俗平常”。陽子居聽,一改原來高傲,其貌不矜亦不恭,其言不驕亦不媚。老子贊曰:“小子稍有進!人者,生於父母之身,立於天地之間,自然之物也。貴己賤物則背自然,貴人賤己則違本性,等物齊觀,物我一,順勢而行,勢而止,言行不自然,則於道矣!”
論養生經
話說老聃隱居宋國沛地,自耕而食,自織而衣。豈知其名,無足自行,慕其名者接踵而至,求問修道之方,學之旨,處世之要,於是其弟子遍天下。
有個弟子名庚桑楚,深得老子之道,住在北部畏壘山上。住三年,畏壘之地民風大變:男耕而有粟可食,女織而有衣可穿,各其能,童叟無欺,百姓和睦,世間太平。衆人欲推庚桑楚為君主。庚桑楚聞之,心中不悅,意欲遷居。弟子不解,庚桑楚道:“巨獸張口可以吞車,其勢可謂強矣,然獨步山林之外,則難免網羅之禍;巨魚,張口可以吞舟,其力可謂大矣,然躍於海灘之上,則衆蟻可以食之。故鳥不厭天高,獸不厭林密,魚不厭海深,兔不厭洞多。天高,鳥可以飛矣;林密,獸可以隱矣;海深,魚可以藏矣;洞多,兔可以逃矣。皆為保其身而全其生也。保身全生之人,宜斂形而藏影也,故不厭卑賤平庸、”
庚桑楚弟子中有一人,名南榮,年過三十,今日聞庚桑楚養生高論,欲求養生之道。庚桑楚道:“古人曰:土蜂不能孵青,越雞不能孵鴻鵠,各有所能,各有所不能也。桑楚之才有限,不足以化汝,汝何不南去宋國沛地求教老聃先生?”南榮 聞言,辭庚桑楚,頂風冒雪,行七日七夜而至老聃居。
南榮 拜見老聃,道:“弟子南榮,資質愚鈍難化,特行七日七夜,來此求教聖人。”老聃道:“汝求何道?”“養生之道。”老聃曰:“養生之道,在神靜心清。靜神心清者,洗內心之污垢也。心中之垢,一為物欲,一為知求。去欲去求,則心中坦然;心中坦然,則動靜自然。動靜自然,則心中無所牽挂,於是乎當臥則臥,當起則起,當行則行,當止則止,外物不能擾其心。故學道之路,內外兩除也;得道之人,內外兩忘也。內者,心也;外者,物也。內外兩除者,內去欲求,外除物誘也;內外兩忘者,內忘欲求,外忘物誘也。由除至忘,則內外一,皆歸於自然,於是達於大道矣!如今,汝心中念念不忘學道,亦是欲求也。除去求道之欲,則心中自靜;心中清靜,則大道可修矣?蹦先?聞言,苦心求道之意頓消。如釋重負,身心已變得清涼爽快、舒展曠達、平靜淡泊。於是拜謝老聃道:“先生一席話,我十年修。如今榮不請教大道,但受養生之經。”
老聃道:“養生之經,要在自然。動不知所,止不知所為,隨物麯,隨波而流,動而與陽同德,靜而與陽同波。其動若水,其靜若鏡,其應若響,此乃養生之經也。”南榮問道。“此乃完美之境界乎?”老聃道:“非也。此乃清融己心,入於自然之始也。倘入完美境界,則與禽獸共居於地而不以為卑,與神仙共樂於天而不以為貴;行不標新立異,止不思慮計謀,動不勞心傷神;來而不知所求,往而不知所欲。”南榮問道:“如此即至境乎?”老聃道。“未也。身立於天地之間,如同枯枝槁木;心居於形之內,如同焦葉死灰。如此,則赤日炎炎而不覺熱,冰雪皚皚而不知寒,劍戟不能傷,虎豹不能害。於是乎禍亦不至,福亦不來。禍福皆無,苦樂皆忘也。”
再授孔丘
話說孔丘與老聃相,轉眼便是十七八年,至五十一歲,仍未學得大道。聞老聃歸宋國沛地隱居,特攜弟子拜訪老子。
老子見孔丘來訪,讓於正房之中,問道:一十數載,聞說你已成北方大賢才。此次光臨,有何指教?”孔丘拜道:“弟子不,雖精思勤習,然空遊十數載,未入大道之門。故特來求教。”老子曰:“欲觀大道,先遊心於物之初。天地之內,環宇之外。天地人物,日月山河,形性不同。所同者,皆順自然而生滅也,皆隨自然而行止也。知其不同,是見其也;知其皆同,是知其本也。不同而觀其同,則可遊心於物之初也。物之初,混而為一,無形無性,無異也。”孔丘問:“觀其同,有何樂哉?”老子道:“觀其同,則齊萬物也。齊物我也,齊是非也。故可視生死為晝夜,禍與福同,吉與兇等,無貴無賤,無榮無辱,心如古井,我行我素,自得其樂,何處而不樂哉?”
孔丘聞之,觀己形似無用物,察已榮名類同糞土。想己來世之前,有何形?有何榮名?思己去世之,有何肌膚?有何貴賤?於是乎求仁義、傳禮儀之心頓消,如釋重負,無憂無慮,悠閑自在。”老子接着說:“道深沉矣似海,高大矣似山,遍環宇矣而無處不在,周流不息矣而無物不至,求之而不可得,論之而不可及也!道者,生育天地而不衰敗、資助萬物而不匱乏者也;天得之而高,地得之而厚,日月得之而行,四時得之而序,萬物得之而形。”孔丘聞之,如騰中,如潛海底,如入山林,如沁物,天我為一,己皆萬物,萬物皆己,心曠而神怡,不禁贊嘆道:“闊矣!矣!無邊無際!吾在世五十一載,知仁義禮儀。豈知環宇如此空曠大矣!好生暢快,再講!再講??老子見孔丘已入大道之門,侃侃而談道:“聖人處世,遇事而不背,事遷而不守,順物流轉,任事自然。調和而順應者,有德之人也;隨勢而順應者,得道之人也。”孔丘聞之,若飄動,隨風而行;若水流轉,就勢而遷。喜道:“悠哉!閑哉!乘舟而漂於海,乘車而行於陸矣。進則同進,止則同止,何以己之力而代舟車哉?君子性非異也,善假於物也!妙哉!妙哉!再講!再講??老子又道:“由宇宙本始觀之,萬物皆氣化而成、氣化而滅也。人之生也,氣之聚也;人之死也,氣之散也。人生於天地間,如白駒過隙,忽然而已矣。萬物之生,蓬蓬勃勃,未有不由無而至於有者;衆類繁衍,變化萬,未始不由有而歸於無者也。物之生,由無化而為有也;物之死,由有又化而為無也。有,氣聚而可見;無,氣散而不可見。有亦是氣。無亦是氣,有無皆是氣,故生死一氣也。生者未有不死者,而人見生則喜,見死則悲,不亦怪乎?人之死也,猶如解形之束縛,脫性情之裹挾,由暫宿之世界歸於原本之境地。人遠離原本,如遊子遠走他鄉;人死乃歸原本,如遊子歸故鄉,故生不以為喜,死不以為悲。得道之人,視生死為一條,生為安樂,死為安息;視是非為同一,是亦不是,非亦不非;視貴賤為一,賤亦不賤,貴亦不貴;視榮辱為等齊,榮亦不榮,辱亦不辱。何故哉?立於大道,觀物根本,生死、是非、貴賤、榮辱,皆人為之價值觀,亦瞬時變動之狀態也。究其根本,同一而無也。知此大道也,則順其變動而不縈於心,日月交替,天地震動、風吼海嘯、雷鳴電擊而泰然處之 。”
孔丘聞之,覺已為鵲,飛於枝頭;覺己為魚,遊於江湖:覺己為蜂,蜜花叢;覺已為人,求道於老聃。不禁心曠神達,說:“吾三十而立,四十而不惑,今五十一方知造化為何物矣!造我為鵲則順鵲性而化,造我為魚則順魚性而化,造我為蜂則順蜂性而化,造我為人則順人性而化。鵲、魚、蜂、人不同,然順自然本性變化卻相同;順本性而變化,即順道而行也;立身於不同之中,遊神於大同之境,則於大道也。我日日求道,不知道即在吾身,!”言罷,起身辭。
聖人辭世
老聃長壽,一百六十歲仙逝,鄰里皆來吊唁。老人哭之,如哭其子;少者哭之,如哭其母。念老子順民之性、隨民之情、與世無爭、柔慈待人的大德大恩,皆悲不自 。
老聃好友秦佚來吊唁,至老子靈旁,不跪不拜,拱手致意,哭號三聲即止。待其欲轉身去時,鄰人攔住問道:“汝非老子好友乎?”秦佚答道;“當然。”鄰人道:“既為老子好友,如此薄情少禮,可乎?”秦佚道;“有何不可?”鄰人聞言,由怒轉,大聲責問道:“其理何在?”秦佚笑道:“吾友老聃有言,生亦不喜,死亦不悲。汝可聞乎?昔日老聃之生也,由無至有,聚氣而成,順時而來,自然之理,有何喜哉?今日老聃之死也,由有歸無,散氣而滅,順時而去,自然之理也。有何悲哉?生而喜者,是以為不當喜而喜也;死而悲者,是以為不當悲而悲也,放生時貴生,死時怕死,皆是以己之意而強求生來、強求死去也,皆背自然之理而任己之情也。如安時而處順,則哀樂不能入也。而背自然、違天理,於道乎?不於道,可為老聃好友乎?老聃好友者,遵其言而動、順於道而行者也。吾既為老聃之友,故能以理化情,故不悲。”
鄰人聞之,似有所悟,又問:“汝既不悲,何以哭號三聲?”秦佚笑道:“吾哭號三聲,非因悲也,是與老聃辭也。一號,言其生而應時,自然之理也。二號,言其死而應時,自然之理也;三號,言其在世傳自然無為之道,自然之理也。老聃舉足而應時,動止而道,吾有何悲哉?”衆鄰聞之,皆言秦佚乃老聃真友,故推其為主葬之人。土之時,秦佚頌悼文道:“老聃大聖,替天行道,遊神大同,古流芳。”
乙 老子其人
歷史上的老子是什麽人呢?他的生活年代到底是什麽時候?這些問題都是我們現在無法肯定的。但是,對於老子的形象,我們卻又是比較熟悉的。(這是因為,我們在接受教育或者是獲得常識的時候,神采丰采情采采烈取一種沒有爭議的觀點)
A 老子是誰?
《史記·老子列傳》載:“老子者,楚,苦縣厲鄉麯仁人也。姓李氏,名耳,字伯陽,謚曰聃,周守藏室之史也。”但是,司馬遷又說關於老子其人的傳說還有三:一說老子是老萊子;二說太史儋即老子;三說老子是隱君子。人對這姓种种氏說法有不同的觀點,引起長期的爭論。
B 老子的形象
在我們一般人看來,老子是道的代人物或者是創始人(對這樣的說法,我持保留態度。老子即使確有其人,他也未必有一個創始“道”的意圖)。在道教中,老子就是太上老君,是道教的“教主”。
2.書名。也稱《道德經》。(《道德經》是來的稱謂,最初老子書稱為《老子》而無《道德經》之名。參見百度百科《道德經》條 (http://baike.baidu.com/lemma-php/dispose/view.php/16516.htm)其成書年代過去多有爭論,至今仍無法確定,不過根1993年出土的郭店楚簡“老子”年代推算,成書年代至少在戰國中前期。
甲 版本問題
自成書以來,老子的版本衆多(版本,在漢語中大概可以指印刷發達明以來印書籍的版次。所以,木板印刷、活字印刷的書籍都有版本。不過,帛書、簡書或者其他形式的書籍是否也有版本問題呢?由於簡帛書籍一般為手寫,是否可以稱為版本,我無法肯定請大指出。或許學界也將簡帛等形式的老子也稱為版本,但是我們現在不會將手稿稱為書籍。)現在,我們一般所說的通行本指王弼本、傅奕本。
乙 老子註釋
《老子》不僅版本衆多,註釋者更是代不斷。我們現代人讀它總覺得有障礙,這障礙首先是文字上的。解决這樣的障礙可以助前人及今人對《老子》的註疏等形式的文字解釋。另一方面大概可以說是思想方面的障礙,對《老子》所達的思想並不是每一個人都會認可或理解的。(可參見道德知音論壇 http://bbs.daode.biz/viewthread.php?tid=2612)
中國茶道與道
第一節 天人一
中國茶道吸收儒、佛、道三的思想精華。佛教強調"禪茶一味"以茶助禪,以茶禮佛,在從茶中味苦寂的同時,也在茶道中註入佛理禪機,這對茶人以茶道為修身養性的途徑,以達到明心見性的目的有好處。而道的學說則為茶人的茶道註入"天人和一 "的哲學思想,樹立茶道的靈魂。同時,還提供崇尚自然,崇尚樸素,崇尚真的美學理念和重生、貴生、養生的思想。
一、人化自然
人化自然,在茶道中現為人對自然的歸渴望,以及人對"道"的認。具地說,人化自然現為在品茶時樂於於自然親近,在思想情感上能與自然交流,在人格上能與自然相比擬通過茶事實踐去悟自然的規律。這人化自然,是道"天地與我生,而萬物與我唯一"思想的典型現。中國茶道與日本茶道不同,中國茶道"人化自然"的渴求特強烈,現味茶人們在品茶時追求寄情於山水,忘情與山水,心融於山水的境界。元好問的《茗飲》一詩,就是天人和一在品茗時的具寫照,契自然的絶妙詩句。宿醒來破厭觥船,紫筍分封入曉前。
槐火石泉寒食,鬢絲禪榻落花前一甌春露香能永,萬清風意已便。邂逅化胥猶可到,蓬萊未擬問群仙。
詩人以槐火石泉煎茶,對着落花品茗,一杯春露一樣的茶能在詩人心中永久留香,而萬清風則送詩人夢遊華胥國,羽化成仙,神遊蓬萊三山,可視為人化自然的極至。茶人也衹有達到人化自然的境界,才能化自然的品格為自己的品格,才能從茶壺水沸聲中聽到自然的呼吸,才能以自己的"天性自然"去接近,去契客的自然,才能徹悟茶道、天道、人道。
二、自然化的人
"自然化的人"也即自然界萬物的人格化、人性化。中國茶道吸收道的思想,把自然的萬物都看成具有人的品格、人的情感,能 與人進行精神上的相互溝通的生命,所以在中國茶人的眼,大自然的一山一水一石一沙一草一木都顯得格外可愛,格外親切。
在中國茶道中,自然人化不僅現在山水草木等品茗環境的人化,而且包含茶以及茶具的人化。
