Chile's famous modern poet. Young respected French writer, to accept the influence of Western avant-garde, and soon abandoned the Western influence, against all tradition, claiming to "creationism." Important poems are "water mirror" (1916), "Arctic Poetry" (1919), "wind" (1926), "Last Poems" (1949) and so on.
