王安忆(1954- ) : 作家。福建同安人。女。初中毕业后去农村插队，回城后任上海《儿童时代》编辑。后专事创作。著有短篇小说《本次列车终点》，中篇小说《流逝》、《小鲍庄》、《小城之恋》，长篇小说《69届初中生》、《黄河故道人》等。

王安忆，女，（1954—）原籍福建省同安县，出生在南京，是作家茹志鹃的次女。

1955年随母移居上海。

1961年入淮海中路小学，1967年入向明中学读初中。

1970年到安徽五河插队。

1972年考人江苏省徐州地区文工团，在乐队拉大提琴，并参加一些创作活动。

1976年开始发表作品。

1978年调上海中国福利会《儿童时代》任编辑。1980年曾入中国作协文学讲习所学习。因发表短篇小说《雨，沙沙沙》（《北京文艺》1980年6期）等雯雯系列小说而引人注目。

1987年调上海作家协会创作室从事专业创作。

后担任中国作协理事，上海作协副主席，上海作协主席。
