南宋  (1271年～1279年)

　　宋卫王赵昺（1271年－1279年），南宋末代皇帝（第九位，1278—1279年在位）。他是南宋第六位皇帝宋度宗赵禥的小儿子，修容俞氏所生，前任皇帝宋端宗赵是的亲弟弟。他先后被封为永国公、信王以及广王等。
　　
　　宋恭帝德祐二年（1275年），南宋首都临安被伯颜率领的元朝大军占领，5岁的小皇帝宋恭帝和谢太后相继被俘。宋恭帝的两个异母兄弟益王赵是和广王赵昺在国舅杨亮节、朝臣陆秀夫、张世杰、陈宜中和文天祥等人的护卫下南逃。在金华，赵是被封为天下兵马都元帅，赵昺为副元帅，晋升为卫王。1276年，刚满7岁的赵是在福州即皇帝位，是为宋端宗，改元“景炎”。一心想对宋朝皇室斩草除根的元军统帅伯颜对宋端宗的南宋流亡小朝廷穷追不舍。景炎三年（1278年），宋端宗死，当时军心涣散，无心恋战，当时陆秀夫在碙州梅蔚（即今日香港大屿山梅窝，一说在广州）拥立赵昺做皇帝，改元“祥兴”，并逃往崖山避难。元朝命令大将张弘范大举进攻崖山的赵昺小朝廷。事实上，当时的宋军还未到岸，一行人还在海上。宋军水师在张世杰的指挥下进行顽抗，在崖门海域里与元朝军队交战，史称“崖门战役”，这场战役关系到南宋流亡小朝廷的兴亡。结果，宋军全军覆灭。西元1279年3月19日，丞相陆秀夫见大势已去，便背着这位刚满8岁的小皇帝赵昺跳海殉国。宋王朝灭亡。
　　
　　赵昺一般被称为宋帝昺，又号少帝、幼主等。
　　
　　在深圳赤湾（现属南山区）有宋少帝陵，据说是少帝遗骸漂至赤湾附近，被僧人发现，从其服装上看出是宋少帝，于是葬于此。1984年蛇口工业区和香港赵氏宗亲会出资修葺扩建了宋少帝陵，现为深圳重点文物保护单位。
　　
　　香港也有一个纪念两位宋末皇帝逃难的地方，叫宋王台公园。另外其附近有“金夫人墓”，相传为杨太后之墓，后来由于该址兴建了圣三一堂，“金夫人墓”也随之湮没。
