西夏  (1177年～1206年)

　　西夏桓宗李纯祐（1177年－1206年），夏仁宗子。性温和厚实。1193年即位，时年十七，改元天庆。桓宗基本上还能奉行仁宗时期的政治方针和外交政策，对内安国养民，对外附金和宋。但随着国家的安定和封建体制的发展，党项族地主阶级开始贪图安逸，日益腐朽堕落，从此西夏政治日益腐败，国势衰落。从盛到衰已成为西夏社会不可逆转的趋势。同时，桓宗统治时期，正是蒙古崛起并日渐强大的时期，来自蒙古的严重威胁加速了西夏由盛而衰的历史进程。公元1205年，改兴庆府名为中兴府，取夏国中兴之意，但同年蒙古第一次进攻西夏，自此迄无宁日了。公元1206年，李安全发动政变，被废。不久暴卒，年仅三十。谥昭简皇帝。
