　　西魏文帝元寶炬（507年-551年）是西魏的開國君主。他的祖父是北魏孝文帝，父親是京兆王元愉，母楊氏。
　　
　　元寶炬在宣武帝時因為父親罪受牽連，年幼的一衆兄弟皆被幽禁在宗正寺，在宣武帝死高才口才奴才蠢才天才人才之才英才多才賢才群才唯才幹才詩才降才五才乏才文才懷才奇才才能才路才力才高才伐才格才望才理才思才郎才哲才智才雄才英才情才分才略才貌才人才子才疏重自由，被叔叔元懌收養。530年被封為南陽王。534年跟隨孝武帝入關中投靠宇文泰。孝武帝死，元寶炬在535年正月被宇文泰擁立為帝，改元大統，政權實際上由宇文泰操控。551年三月，元寶炬死，長子元欽嗣位。
