周頃王(?—前613年)，姓姬，名壬臣，周襄王之子。前619年即位，在位六年，至前613年卒，葬處不明。其子匡王班立。
周頃王姬壬臣繼位時，王室財政拮据，竟致于無法辦理襄王的喪事，他得派卿士毛伯去魯國討錢。魯國國君派使者送錢到都城，安葬襄王，這時已經是襄王死第二年的2月。
姬壬臣在位時，邾國(今山東省鄒城市東南)的諸侯為邾文公。公元前614年，邾文公備遷都到繹山(也稱嶧山，在今山東省鄒城市南)。占辭上說：“遷都有利於民，但是有害於君，會使君短命。”當時的人是很相信占卜的，紛紛勸阻遷都，邾文公卻說：“上天讓民樹立君，就是為替民謀利．如果遷都有利於民，就遷吧。”他還是把都城遷到繹山。不久，邾文公果然病死，這雖是巧，時人卻紛紛贊譽邾文公的賢良。
公元前613年春，姬壬臣病死。姬壬臣死的廟號為頃王。
