宋元公，本名
子佐，中國春秋時代宋國君主，元公十年（前522年）夏天，元公猜忌華族，華嚮、華定、華亥與嚮寧謀反，雙方妥協，互派人質，盟誓講和，史載“取大子樂與母弟辰、公子地為質；公亦取華亥之子無戚、嚮寧之子羅、華定之子啓，與華氏盟，以為質”。同年鼕天，宋元公取得華氏宗主大司馬華費遂的同意後，誅殺人質，藉他族之力，拜樂大心為大將，率兵圍南裏。華定、華亥、嚮寧事敗出奔陳，華登奔吳。不久華氏發生內訌。華貙殺華多僚，劫持其父華費遂，召回華亥、嚮寧，發動叛亂。宋元公欲棄師而逃，被廚人濮勸止。齊將烏枝鳴重整軍備，擊敗華氏軍於新裏（今河南開封東）。元公十一年（前521年）十一月，晉、曹相繼出兵救宋，聯軍連敗華氏，圍困於南裏，華登赴楚國求援，元公十二年（前520年）二月楚遣使嚮宋元公施壓，迫其赦免華氏。華氏族流亡至楚，內亂至此平息。元公在位15年而卒。
