宋國

　　宋微子，名啓，世稱微子啓（“微”是國號，“子”是爵位），是商王帝乙的長子，紂王的庶兄（《呂氏春秋》稱微子與紂王同母，但是微子出生時，其母尚未成為妃，所以是庶子），宋國開國遠祖。
　　
　　紂王在位時，微子啓曾經數次勸諫他，紂王沒有接納。
　　
　　周武王滅商後，微子啓持祭器來到周軍的軍門，襢肉面伏，左牽羊右把茅，膝行而前，武王釋放了他。周朝平定三監之亂後，封商朝王族微子啓於宋地（今河南商丘），建立宋國，代替被殺的紂王之子武庚祭祀商朝祖先。微子啓死後，其弟衍立，是為微仲。
　　
　　《史記》為了避漢景帝劉啓諱，把微子啓改稱為“微子開”。
