薑齊

齊孝公（－前633年），名
薑昭，中國春秋時期齊國國君，齊桓公之子、母親為葛嬴。前642年至前633年在位。
早年齊桓公和管仲立其為太子，並囑托宋襄公予以照應。前643年，桓公卒，另外五子爭奪君位，原桓公寵臣易牙與竪刁擁立公子無虧為君，
薑昭逃奔宋國。前642年春，宋襄公聯合曹國、衛國、邾國領兵攻齊，以助
薑昭歸國爭位。三月，迫於諸侯軍隊的壓力，齊衆大夫在國氏、高氏兩傢的率領下誘殺竪刁、無虧，迎立太子昭。但其餘四公子的追隨者興兵攻打已入齊境的太子昭，迫使其逃回宋國。五月，宋襄公再度發兵，擊敗齊衆公子於甗(今山東濟南附近)，太子昭遂得以入齊都臨淄(今山東淄博臨淄)即位。此次動亂之後，齊國國力衰落，齊桓公霸業告終。
【有恃無恐】的典故
魯僖公二十六年（前634年）夏，魯國大饑，齊孝公趁機攻魯。魯大夫展喜日夜兼程，在齊魯邊界上遭遇孝公，以牛羊、酒食犒勞齊國軍隊。《古文觀止》一篇文章，描述兩人的對白：
齊侯曰：“魯人恐乎？”對曰：“小人恐矣，君子則否。”齊侯曰：“室如縣罄，野無青草，何恃而不恐？”對曰：“恃先王之命。昔周公、大公股肱周室，夾輔成王。成王勞之而賜之盟，曰：‘世世子孫，無相害也。’載在盟府，大師職之。桓公是以糾合諸侯，而謀其不協，彌縫其闕，而匡救其災，昭舊職也。及君即位，諸侯之望曰：‘其率桓之功。’我敝邑用不敢保聚，曰：‘豈其嗣世九年而棄命廢職？其若先君何？君必不然。’恃此以不恐。”齊孝公無言以對，班師回傢。
