BECOMING
by Chris Hutchinson

Thrown headfirst
from the astral plane
the newborn dead

mistake the rushing wind
for a hand to keep them
safe, suspended.

At least this is how
I’ll speak of it, unwilling
to say goodbye:

Clouds like doors closing
and unclosing—it seems
absurd to wonder why.

Meanwhile the living softly
procreate in the mollusc-dark,
creatures curled

in sorrow, devoted
to the world concealed
inside the world.

誤將疾風
當做一隻手,以為它會

至少我會這樣
說起這事,不願
說再見:

雲猶如許多門,關閉
又打開-想知道為什麽

同時,生者輕柔地
在軟體黑暗中繁衍,
那些生物

在悲傷中蜷曲,獻身於
隱藏在這世界裏的
那個世界。

从多星的平空
摔得头先着地

William 的 读起来是觉得更符合汉语的习惯。

戴玨 的 却更好地表达了那种“突兀”的感觉 以及对原文句型的忠实。

现在的诗歌翻译我也找不到什么标准了 Sad

我覺得把新生的死者擺在後頭較好,除了Lake所說的原因,還因為要照顧第二節。

我倒觉得 中文版本 没有诗歌的惯性感觉。。

同意lake的观点, 这"一头摔出" 体现了原诗的感觉. 突兀, 产生一种神秘感. 引导读者继续.

william 的版本文字通畅, 但诗的感觉淡了些.
