Events: Google search will receive antitrust investigation

The European Commission on November 30 launch of Google's U.S. antitrust investigation to identify this global Internet search engine giant is abusing its market dominance. Responsible for EU anti-monopoly affairs, said in a statement the European Commission to investigate whether the company mainly involves artificial manipulation of Google search results rankings, provide competitive services for businesses, deliberately reducing their rankings, and links to their services by the priority, to squeeze out competitors. Google's also accused of forcing exclusive online advertising partner to accept the obligation to prohibit their own sites running the ads of some competitors, squeeze out the intention to compete search tool. The European Commission said the initiation of an investigation does not mean that Google has mastered a breach of EU antitrust rules of evidence, but the European Commission will give priority to this case in-depth investigation.
