Events: Nepali Congress Party Elects New Chairman

Xinhua Kathmandu, September 22 (Reporter Chen Qiao Yan) the second largest party in the Constituent Assembly in Nepal Nepali Congress Central Committee Election Commission announced the 22 am local time, the party presidential election vote count, on behalf of Lara to the main 席苏希尔柯伊1652 votes elected the new chairman.
According to Nepali Congress party constitution, party chairman needed to be more than half of votes before being elected. Electoral Commission says, to participate in the Nepali Congress 12th National Congress of 3080 delegates, 3062 people attended the 21-day vote.
Former President of the Nepali Congress party, former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala on March 20 this year, died in Kathmandu.
