　　光绪八年（1882），浙江丝商黄佐卿在上海创办公和永丝厂，资本十万两，丝车一百部。光绪八年至十三年（1882－1887）间，营业状况不佳，光绪十三年（1887）以后，生产逐渐发达。至光绪上（1892），丝车已增加到八百五十八部。
