中国宋元时期流行于长江中下游和东南沿海一带的戏曲剧种。又称南戏、温州杂剧、永嘉杂剧。主要特点是以南曲演唱，与杂剧特别是元杂剧以北曲演唱相对峙。今知剧目200 余种，大都散佚，全本流传至今的仅有《张协状元》、《小孙屠》、《宦门子弟错立身》、《拜月亭》 、《荆钗记》、《白兔记》、《杀狗记》、《琵琶记》等少数几种 ，且大都经过明人增删或改写。宋元南戏对明清传奇的体制有着直接影响。
