  • v.  他們拋轉硬幣來定誰開場.   They spun a coin to decide who should start, ie threw it spinning in the air to see which side was uppermost when it landed
  • v.  他們最後毅然定結婚.   They have finally decided to take the plunge and get married
  • n.  他們未能做出定, 這使她進退無門.   Their failure to come to a decision put her in an impossible position
