　　常袞，京兆人。天寶末，舉進士，太子正字。寶應二年，為翰林學士、考功員外、郎中、知誥。文章俊拔，當時推重。永泰元年，遷中書人，上章陳西北利害，代宗甚顧遇之，加集賢院學士。大初，拜門下侍郎，同平章事，與楊綰掌機務。出為福建觀察使。集十。今存詩九首。
