　　孔门有高弟，曾子以孝著。
　　求诸圣人言，尚曰参也鲁。
　　才敏谁不愿，顾恐难荷负。
　　苟无德将之，何益於父母。
　　昔如吴起者，善兵亚孙武。
　　齿臂游诸侯，亲丧哀不举。
　　杨彪有子脩，器能颇可取。
　　一旦以罪诛，舐犊秆虚语。
　　吾生本薄祜，略无兄弟助。
　　及汝又一身，不绝如线缕。
　　祖母唯汝爱，无异所生乳。
　　宁止吒祭祀，亦欲兴门户。
　　伎俩勿求名，适时乃有补。
　　计虑勿尚巧，合义乃可处。
　　持重尚寡过，摧刚庶无惧。
　　内以保家族，外以扬名誉，
　　高山在所仰，今人岂殊古。
　　参鲁为汝名，其字曰孝孺。
