愛德華·邁爾·吉羅斯，OBE（英語：Edward Michael Grylls，1974年6月7日－），昵稱貝爾（英語：Bear）、貝爺（中國網友以此稱呼），英國探險、作和電視主持人，因拍攝求生列節目《荒野求生》（港譯：《荒野求生》）聞名。畢業於英國倫敦大學伯貝學院（Birkbeck, University of London）。1994到1997年，為英國空勤。學習徒手搏擊、沙漠寒地等環境的作戰生存技能，曾去過兩次北非。1996年底曾在非洲南部一次自由跳傘時背部受傷。23歲登上珠穆朗瑪峰，成為英國登上該峰最年輕的人。2009年7月，35歲的年齡成為迄今最年輕的英國童軍總會總領袖。

生平

貝爾生於北愛爾蘭的多納哈迪，4歲時人移居英國南端懷特島郡的本鄰里里程奇。他父親是保守政治Michael Grylls 爵士，母親 Lady Sarah Grylls也出生於一個政治世。貝爾有一個姐姐 Lara Fawcett，她來成為一名網球教練，'Bear' 這個稱號就是姐姐Lara在貝爾一周大的時候給起的。

格爾斯從小就喜愛與父親一起登山、航海等運動，學會跳傘和搏擊項目。他會說英語、西班牙語和法語，作為一名基督徒，他認為信仰是他生命中的重要支柱。

2000年，他與 Shara Cannings Knight 結婚，兩人育有三個兒子：Jesse、Marmaduke和 Huckleberry。

格爾斯於2019年壽辰授勳頒奬典禮上頒大英帝國勳章。

Edward Michael Grylls OBE (born 7 June 1974), better known as Bear Grylls, is a British former SAS serviceman, survival instructor, and honorary lieutenant-colonel, and, outside his military career, an adventurer, writer, television presenter and businessman. Grylls first drew attention after embarking on a number of adventures, and then became widely known for his television series Man vs. Wild (2006–2011). He is also involved in a number of wilderness survival television series in the UK and US, such as Running Wild with Bear Grylls and The Island with Bear Grylls. In July 2009, Grylls was appointed the youngest-ever Chief Scout of the United Kingdom and Overseas Territories at age 35, a post he has held for a second term since 2015.
