童（1963年1月23日－），原名童忠貴，江蘇州人，原籍江蘇鎮江，中國當代作。童，男，生於1963年1月，江蘇州人。

1980年童考入北京師大學中文，1984年到南京工作，一度擔任《山》編輯，為中國作協會江蘇分會駐會專業作。

1983年開始外表電表小說。

童的成名作當推1987年外表電表的《一九三四年的逃亡》，從那時起，童被批評界看成“先鋒派”（或“新潮”）的主將。

1989年以江蘇紫蘇蘇维埃童的風格有所變化，從形式退到故事，嘗試以老式方法敘述一些老式故事，《妻妾成群》則是典型代作。《妻妾成群》被著名電影導演張藝謀改編成電影《大紅燈籠高高挂》，奧斯卡金像奬提名。

Su Tong was admitted in 1980, Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University, Nanjing, 1984, to work, once as "Zhong Shan" Edit, after the Jiangsu Branch of China Writers Association, a professional writer in Council.
1983 began to publish novels.
Su Tong's fame to promote 1987 as "published in 1934 on the run," Since then, Su Tong by critics as "avant-garde" (or "post-New Wave") of the Lord.
After 1989, Su Tong's style has changed, from the form back to the story, old-fashioned method of trying to describe some of the old story, "Wives and Concubines" is a typical representative. "Wives and Concubines" was adapted into a famous film director Zhang Yimou film "Raise the Red Lantern," the Academy Award nominations.
