　　一字衡仲，又字君衡，號西麓，鄞縣（今浙江寧波）人。試上捨不遇，遂放情山水，往來吳淞淮泗間。恭宗德佑時，授沿海製置司參議官（ 《宋元學案》捲二五 《參議陳西麓允平先生》）。宋亡，以人才徵至元大都。不受官，放還。事見 《兩宋名賢小集》捲三一五 《西麓詩稿》捲首、 《宋詩略》捲一五。陳允平詩，以汲古閣影宋抄 《南宋六十傢小集·西麓詩稿》為底本，校以 《兩宋名賢小集》（簡稱名賢集）。新輯集外詩編為第二捲。
