　　Ha Jin, Chinese-American writer, written in English. Born in 1956 in northeast China, 14-year-old joined the army in 1977, was admitted to the English Department of Heilongjiang University, and in 1985 obtained a master's degree in American literature at Shandong University, and the following year the United States to pursue a doctorate. Now professor of English at Boston University, teaches creative writing, literature and poetry immigration aspects of the curriculum for the school. Its "war on waste", "Waiting" and other novels, caused great repercussions and praise in the mainstream American society, was twice nominated Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, and won the National Book Award and many other awards.
