　　Johann Strauss (Johann Strauss, 1825 ~ 1899), son of Johann Strauss, the famous Austrian composer, conductor, violinist, an outstanding representative of the Strauss family; born in fashion dance to a musical family in Vienna, home, and his father the same name. By the world as "the Waltz King." 1844 formed his own band, playing himself and his father works. 1855-1865 was invited to direct the summer concerts in St. Petersburg for ten years 1863-1870 he was appointed commanding royal court dance. Then engaged in the creation of light opera.
