Native of Jieyang, Guangdong Province, was born in Taiwan, Tainan (Tainan City today). Scholars in 1890, granted the Department of principal officers and men, but please return to Taiwan from cultivated soil "of barbarians." During the Sino-Japanese War, leading his men against the Japanese, eventually finding a mate because of the situation, his family moved back to the mainland in 1895, first in Xiamen, a short stay, and later transferred Chaoshan. 1897 by the Ministry of Personnel of Guangdong which was named a principal with the governor, the town in 1899 by the Chief General Huang Chao Shan and Ting (Jinfu) Dan go to Wai Chiu Ka be handled in the area "clean village" services.
