  Xu Shan (1893.2.14-1941.8.4)
  
  Formerly known as Zan Xu Kun, word to Hill, the pen name off Watson. Born in Tainan, Taiwan, Sino-Japanese War the family moved to Fujian for Longxi (Zhangzhou). Young father in Guangdong to study, graduating from high school hungry because of family decline, to the Zhangzhou Teachers teach the second, went to Rangoon in 1913, secondary schools, home in 1916. The following year into the Yenching University, Bachelor of Arts degree and then get into the religious college, was God degree. Columbia University in 1923, the United States into the next year to study at Oxford University. He has deep study of religious history, but also make efforts dug into Indian philosophy, anthropology, folklore, master Sanskrit, Greek and ancient Chinese inscriptions, Oracle is well-known scholars.
