西梁

蕭察西梁宣帝（519年—562年)，為西梁的開國皇帝，梁武帝之孫、昭明太子蕭統之第三子。字理孫，廟號中宗。
蕭察於531年被封為嶽陽郡王被任命為東揚州刺史，鎮守會稽；546年改任雍州刺史，鎮守襄陽。549年，
蕭察兄長河東王蕭譽被他們叔父湘東王(之的梁元帝)蕭繹攻擊，
蕭察試圖救援蕭譽兵敗，襄陽歸降西魏，西魏於550年封
蕭察為梁王。554年西魏攻打江陵，梁元帝開門投降，被
蕭察以土袋悶死。
之西魏於555年立
蕭察為梁皇帝，年號大定；而西魏除江陵附近八百之地外，將襄陽等地皆入西魏，且將江陵一帶的人民財産擄掠一空。即位八年，562年，
蕭察在抑中病故。
