南齊
蕭道生，字孝伯，蕭承之的次子。南朝宋的時候官居奉朝請，在弟弟蕭道成當皇帝前就去世了。建元元年（479年），蕭道成建立南齊，追封
蕭道生為始安王，謚號貞。
蕭道生有三子：靖世子（始安靖王）蕭鳳、蕭鸞、安陸昭王蕭緬。蕭鸞在494年廢殺皇帝蕭昭業（蕭道成的曾孫），改立昭業之弟蕭昭文；不久又廢蕭昭文為海陵王自立為帝，改元建武，追尊父親
