　　齊明帝蕭鸞（452年－498年），字景棲，小名玄度，廟號高宗，南朝齊的第五任皇帝。為始安王蕭道生之子、蕭道成之侄。494年到498年期間在位，共5年。
　　
　　蕭鸞自小父母雙亡，由蕭道成撫養，蕭道成對其視若己出。宋順帝時，蕭鸞擔任安吉令，以嚴格而聞名；遷淮南、宣城太守，輔國將軍。齊高帝時任西昌候、郢州刺史；齊武帝蕭賾時升任侍中，領驍騎將軍。蕭賾死時，以蕭鸞為輔政，輔佐蕭昭業。
　　
　　自從文惠太子蕭長懋於493年死，蕭鸞便有爭奪帝位之心；蕭鸞在494年廢殺蕭昭業，改立其弟蕭昭文；不久又廢蕭昭文為海陵王自立為帝。蕭鸞於494年即位，便壓宗室力量，設立典簽監視諸王；且在任期間屠殺宗室，蕭道成與蕭賾的子孫都被蕭鸞誅滅。蕭鸞任內長期深居簡出，要求節儉，停止各地中央的進獻，且停止不少工程。
　　
　　蕭鸞晚年病重，相當尊重道教與厭之，將所有的服裝都改為紅色；而且蕭鸞還特地下詔官府求銀魚以為藥劑，外界知道蕭鸞患病。498年蕭鸞病故，葬於興安陵。
　　
　　齊書這樣形容他:“帝明審有吏，持法無所，奉御御驾御前御史御使御制御座御用御膳御容親幸，臣下肅清。驅使寒人不得用四幅傘，大存儉約。罷世祖所起新林苑，以地還百姓。廢文帝所起太子東田，斥賣之。永明中輿輦舟乘，悉剔取金銀還主衣庫。太官進食，有裹蒸，帝曰：“我食此不，可四片破之，充晚食。”而世祖掖庭中宮殿服，一無所改。
　　
　　性猜忌多慮，故亟行誅戮。潛信道，用計數，出行幸，先占利害，南出則唱西行，東遊則唱北幸。簡於出入，竟不南郊。上初有疾，無輟聽覽，秘而不傳。及寢疾甚久，省府署文簿求白魚以為治，外始知之，身衣絳衣，服飾皆赤，以為厭。巫覡：“湖水頭經過宮內，帝有疾。”帝乃自至太官行水溝，左右啓：“太官若無此水則不立。”帝决意塞之，欲南引淮流。會崩，事寢。”
