南詔

世隆（844年－877年），一作酋竜，勸豐祐之子，南詔第八代國王，第一代皇帝，859年至877年在位。859年，勸豐祐去世，其子世隆即位。世隆的名字犯唐朝兩代皇帝的名諱（唐太宗李世民、唐玄宗李隆基），即位之年唐宣宗駕崩，世隆沒有遣使吊祭，也沒有告其父勸豐祐之喪。唐懿宗便不予册封。世隆遂叛唐，860年，改元建極，改國號大禮，自稱皇帝。859年，攻陷唐朝的播州（今貴州遵義）；860年、863年，兩次攻陷交州（今越南河內）；861年，攻陷邕州（今廣西南寧），均大掠而回。866年，安南都護高駢擊敗南詔軍，收復交州。869年，南詔又大舉嚮成都進攻，並以“木莢書” 威脅改任西川節度使的高駢要“藉錦江飲馬”，高駢築成都府磚城，加強防禦工事。又在境上駐紮重兵，逼迫南詔修好，幾年內蜀地轉危為安。長期的戰爭使唐朝和南詔都損失巨大，對於唐朝，直接引發了龐勳之變；南詔國力也日漸衰落。877年，世隆去世，謚號景莊皇帝，其子隆舜即位。
