衛國

衛懿公，春秋早期衛國國君，名赤。好養鶴，宮廷園囿中之鶴不僅數量多，而且享受諸侯待遇。終於荒廢政事，遭遇百姓憤怒。北方遊牧民族狄人乘機來攻，都城朝歌（原商朝都城，今河南省淇縣）被攻破，城市建築毀於一旦，百姓紛紛逃跑。懿公被狄人殺害並吃掉（狄人是蠻族，好食人），僅餘一肝。後來齊桓公幫助懿公兒子復國，在戰場上拾到此肝。為給衛懿公留全屍，肝髒被移植到志願大臣弘演身上，弘演幾小時後死亡並按照國君規格下葬。
他的謚號“懿”，意思是有品德。後人說他：“衛懿好鶴而亡國”。
