张楚  (?前208年～前208年)

　　项梁（？─前208年），秦下相（今江苏省宿迁市宿城区）人，秦末著名起义军首领之一。楚国贵族项氏的后裔，项燕的儿子，西楚霸王项羽的叔父。在反秦战争中为秦将章邯所败，战死。

　　项梁世代为楚国贵族，项梁之父项燕是名将，在秦楚战争中，被王翦打败，于是殉国。项梁世代祖先，多是楚国将领。
　　早期
　　
　　项梁因杀人，与侄子项羽避仇至吴中。项梁在吴中威信颇高，贤士大夫皆出其下，当地的大事全由他出面主办。项梁利用这种条件暗中招兵买马，训练子弟。
　　起兵反秦
　　
　　陈胜吴广起义爆发后，项梁叔侄杀会稽太守殷通响应，任张楚政权上柱国（上柱国，原楚国置，是统领军队的最高将领），渡江西进，屡胜秦军。陈胜死后，项梁听从军师范增之计，立楚怀王之孙熊心为王，仍称楚怀王，怀王封项梁为武信君。
　　
　　项梁曾败秦将章邯，在雍丘阵斩秦将李由，后因轻敌，在定陶被章邯打败，战死。
