晋国  (?前650年～前637年)

　　晋惠公（？-前637年），姓姬名夷吾，春秋时代晋国君主，晋献公的儿子，恭太子申生的弟弟、晋文公重耳的弟弟。
　　
　　前666年，晋献公派夷吾守护二屈（今山西吉县）。
　　
　　前655年，献公的嫡长子申生被害，夷吾也遭到骊姬之乱的迫害，逃到梁国避难。梁伯把自己的女儿许配给夷吾，生下一男一女。男孩取名为圉，女孩取名为妾。
　　
　　前651年，晋献公驾崩，里克杀了骊姬，然后派人往梁国迎接了夷吾。夷吾听了吕省的劝告，怀疑里克迎接他有阴谋，怕有生命危险，因此贿赂秦国请求帮助，说会把晋国河西这块土地给奉献秦国。秦军护送夷吾回国即位。晋惠公即位后，没有实现他的诺言。
　　
　　前647年，晋国发生饥荒，晋惠公向秦穆公请求购买粮食，秦穆公答应了。
　　
　　前646年，秦国发生饥荒，晋惠公却不肯向秦国卖粮食，不听庆郑的劝阻。秦穆公大怒，攻打晋国，在韩交战。晋惠公不想让庆郑驾驶他的战车。打仗时，惠公的战车陷在泥土里，跑不动，秦军逼近，惠公叫庆郑驾御战车，而庆郑置之不理走了。惠公改让梁繇靡驾车，虢射担任护卫迎击秦穆公。穆公的勇武士兵打败了晋军，晋军败退，让秦穆公俘获了晋惠公带回秦国。
　　
　　秦国将要杀晋惠公祭祀上天。晋惠公的姐姐是穆公夫人，她身穿丧服哭泣不止。穆公说：“俘获了晋侯应该庆贺高兴啊，现在你竟悲痛起来。况且我听说箕子看到唐叔刚刚被分封时说过‘他的后代一定繁荣昌盛’，晋怎么能灭亡呢？”于是，秦穆公就和晋侯在王城结盟，并允许他返回晋国。
　　
　　同年十一月，秦送回晋惠公。晋侯返回晋国后，杀了庆郑，重新修整政务。与大臣们商议说：“重耳在外，诸侯大多认为他有利而接待他。”晋惠公想派人到狄杀死重耳。重耳听到风声，跑到齐国去了。
　　
　　前643年，晋惠公让太子圉到秦当人质。
　　
　　前641年，秦国灭亡了梁国。梁伯喜好大兴土木、修筑城池沟堑，百姓疲惫不堪怨声载道，多次互相惊吓道“秦军来了”，百姓过分恐惧，秦终于灭亡了梁。
　　
　　前638年，晋惠公生病了，他有几个儿子。太子圉说：“我母亲家在梁国，今天梁被秦国灭亡，我在国外被秦轻视，在国内又无援助。我的父亲病重卧床不起，我担心晋国大夫看不起我，请改立其他公子为太子。”于是太子圉与妻子怀嬴（秦穆公之女）商量一起逃回去。怀嬴说：“您是一国的太子，在此受辱。秦国让我服侍您，为的是稳住您的心。您逃跑吧，我不拖累你，也不敢声张出去。”太子圉于是跑回晋国。
　　
　　惠公十四年（前637年）九月，晋惠公去世，太子圉即位，这就是晋怀公。
