日本宇和岛凸凹神堂（1）
日本有许多微型博物馆,完全是家庭式的,性博物馆也有好几个,都很小,较大而且著名的一个是宇和岛的凸凹神堂。
宇和岛是日本南端的一个城市,风景秀丽。凸凹神堂实际上是一个神社,进去就是一个院子,院子不大,但是树木掩映,曲径通幽,很有古趣。
这里正式的展厅是一幢三层的近代建筑,每层约有200多平方米,展品十分丰富。听说,这是经过两代人才搜集起来的,现在的管理者已是第三代了。这些展品,例如,作为对神的奉纳物的大小阳具可能有上百个,贞操带有七八件,有性爱含义的佛像有上百尊,性工具也有上百件。
这里展览的资料也很丰富,除了实物以外,还有许多照片和文字说明,如有一张照片是在欢度具有性崇拜含义的盛大节日时,一个全裸的少女走在乡间小路上,后面则跟了一大群人抬着一个硕大的木雕阳具游行,这种做法现在已被日本政府禁止了。此外,还有许多关于割礼、贞操带、阴阳人、性和宗教以及性药和性工具的资料。
使人感到遗憾的是,展品的陈列太杂乱了,缺乏系统性,许多展品乱糟糟地挤在一起。有不少资料和说明都是用毛笔手写的,字也并不太好看,不太整齐。
欧洲有的性博物馆声光设备太讲究,活动模型太多,有些像个游乐场；而这个凸凹神堂则太土气,太不讲“包装”,有些像个仓库。
在这里存放的丰富的资料,足够人们在这里研究、写作一辈子了。这些被苦心孤诣地搜集来的性文物不仅是陈列出来让人们看一看,还要研究它,深入挖掘它们内在的文化含义,使它们给人们以系统的科学启迪,可是看来这一工作并没有展开,这真是很可惜的。
A Sex Museum of Yu He Island in Japan
There are some small erotic museums in Japan. They are just like a family. The bigger and more famous one is the sex museum of Yu He Island.
The Yu He Island is a city located in the south end of Japan.It has beautiful scenery.
In fact,Dekoboko Shindo is a sacrificial place.The gate is the“开”-shaped memorial archway, which is very common among all temples in Japan.Inside it there is a yard,not very big,but there are green trees and winding paths and it is quiet and interesting.
The exhibition hall is a three storied contemporary building.Each floor is about 200 square meters. There are lots of exhibits.For example,there are nearly a hundred big and small penises,seven or eight chastity belts,a hundred figures of Buddha with the implied meaning of sex and love and over a hundred sexual tools.
The museum also provides a lot of reference materials.Besides the material objects,there are lots of pictures and literal explanations.For example,there is a picture of the scene when the ancient Japanese celebrated the festival about the sex adoration.A naked young girl is walking in the countryside,followed by a group of people lifting a huge wooden penis.It is said that this way of doing has been forbidden in Japan now.In addition,there are many reference materials about circumcision, chastity belt,sex and religion as well as sexual drugs and tools.
Regretfully, the exhibits are arrayed disorderly and unsystematically in Dekoboko Shindo.Many exhibits are put together randomly,and it lacks the main theme.Besides,some reference materials and explanatory notes are handwritten.It does not look good and it is untidy.
In Europe,some sex museums use the state of the art acoustic and lighting devices and offer too many movable models,and they look like an amusement park；but Dekoboko Shindo is too countrified and ignores“packaging",so it looks like a warehouse more or less.
One can spend the whole life researching the reference materials stored in Dekoboko Shindo and writing articles.The sex cultural relics displayed here are not easy to obtain. People need to make an in depth study of them and find out the implied meaning and get some enlightenment.But it seems that it has not drawn too many people’s attention.This might be the unfulfilled wish of its masters. lt is really regretful.
