《封神演義》一般俗稱《封神榜》,又名《商周列國全傳》、《武王伐紂外史》、《封神傳》。是一部中國神魔小說。
演義簡介
封神演義原是中國平民娛樂文學,約成書於隆慶,作者是明朝的陳仲琳(或許仲琳)(也有一說為明代道士陸西星,《封神演義》中有十餘處引用道教經典《黃庭經》)。原書最早追溯可能是南宋的《武王伐紂白話文》,和《商周演義》《昆侖八仙東遊記》,以古代魔幻神話故事再參考古籍和民間傳說創作而成。
書內容篇幅巨大、幻想之奇特而聞名於世。其內容依托商滅周興的歷史背景,用武王伐紂為時空綫索,從女媧降香開書,到姜子牙封三百六十五位正神結束。其中的哪吒鬧海、姜子牙下山、文王訪賢、三搶封神榜、衆仙鬥陣鬥法等情節,展現了古人豐富的想象力:騰雲駕霧、呼風喚雨、搬山移海、撒豆成兵、水遁、土遁、風火輪、火尖槍……
日本江戶時代書已出現翻譯全本,魯迅在《中國小說史略》中也有介紹。另,封神演義使道教令人熟知。
故事概略
封神演義的故事,深深地影響了中國民衆的世界觀(道教和神仙思想,佛教,等深深地互相纏繞了的中國獨特的宇宙印象)。
書以紂王無道失去天下道統,武王伐紂商滅周興為主體,神話穿插為特點。

在封神演義的世界中,世界分成為仙境和人間。仙境是由仙人、道士們組成的昆侖山的仙道「闡教」和有智慧的動物、植物組成的「截教」。 人間是商(殷朝)的紂王的統治。
在一次宗教祭奠時紂王對世間最美麗的女人女媧女神作出了無禮行動。(作了首邪惡的詩)。紂王的瀆神使女媧異常憤怒,命令軒轅墳三妖——千年狐狸精、玉石琵琶精、九頭雉雞精迷惑紂王使其國傢毀滅。狐精使用冀州諸侯的女兒妲己的身體,進入後宮後被妲己操縱的紂王逐漸變得殘暴,此後,雉雞精於琵琶精又幻化成“鬍喜妹”與“王貴人”共同迷惑紂王。
另一方面昆侖山仙人們也存在二件煩惱事情。一是無法消除由於生命長久存在下的‘殺劫”問題。再一個由於太多能力強大的仙人無法管理和仙人與人同存一境問題,常出現仙人毀壞人間事情。封三百六十五位正神的「封神計劃」就漸漸出現。
紂王與武王相對的是闡教和截教,國傢天下之爭神仙道統之爭。

姜子牙:又稱呂尚、姜尚、太公望,是書中主角。
姫昌: 文王 ,四大諸侯之一,作為西伯諸侯治理着西岐。
散宜生:周朝文官。
武王:稱姫發, 姫昌次子。周朝初代國主。
姫伯邑考:姫昌長子。被妲己處死(作了包子)。
周公旦:稱姫旦, 姫昌第四個孩子,幾乎不出現故事中。
雷震子:姫昌養子。第一百個孩子。

人物簡介

紂王
商朝最後一任君王,是與夏末代王桀齊名的暴君。名辛,為帝乙的兒子,紂是謚號,辛是名字,故又稱帝辛,史稱為紂王。他天資聰穎,思維敏捷,武藝高超,力大無窮,曾徒手和猛獸格鬥。曾多次攻伐東夷,俘獲了大量奴隸,使中原文化逐漸傳播到長江、淮河流域,奠定中國統一的規模。
紂王以荒淫殘暴著稱。他喜好飲酒,貪於女色。寵愛妲己,為了討得其喜歡,紂大興土木,擴建沙丘的宮殿苑囿,將野獸飛鳥散放其中,多次舉行大規模的宴會,以酒為池,懸肉為林,極盡鋪張奢靡之能事。他又巧取豪奪,高賦重稅,殘酷地壓榨人民,以滿足龐大的開支。他還大施淫威發明一種"炮烙"的刑具,用銅鑄成空心柱子,柱子中燒紅炭火。將不滿他暴行的臣民脫光衣服,綁在銅柱上活活烤死。他將人砍頭剁腳,視為傢常便飯,更有甚者,剖開婦人腹部取胎兒取樂,殘忍到了極點。
紂王的種種暴虐,最終導致他陷於衆叛親離、民怨沸騰的孤立境地,商王朝的統治岌岌可危。這時候在西方,一個新興的國傢西周正在崛起。姬昌繼位後,他表面上服從商的統治,暗中積蓄力量,進行滅商的準備工作。他修德行義,禮賢下士,吸引一大批仁人志士前來投奔,增強實力。姬昌死後,其子姬發繼承他的事業。時機成熟後,姬發在姜尚的輔佐下,率領大軍討伐。這時,紂王廢黜了忠臣微子、箕子,殺了叔父比幹,正和妲己在鹿臺飲酒作樂,聽到消息,匆忙把70萬奴隸編成軍隊,開上前綫迎戰。
兩軍在牧野相遇,周軍人人奮勇衝殺,商軍毫無鬥志,紛紛倒戈,迎接武王姬發。紂王逃入朝歌城中,自知已無力回天,無路可走了,在摘星樓自焚而死,商朝宣告滅亡,其時約公元前11世紀。商的滅亡,有着政治衰微、社會動蕩、經濟凋疲等多種原因,但紂王的例行逆施,造成衆叛親離無疑是一個十分重要的因素,加速了這600年江山的徹底崩潰。
妲己
冀州侯蘇護的女兒。商紂王子辛的愛妃,有美色,又能歌善舞。《史記•殷本紀》記載,殷紂王“好酒淫樂,嬖於婦人。愛妲己,妲己之言是從”。他“以酒為池,縣肉為林,使男女裸,相逐其間,為長夜之飲”。在後代,人們常將亡國之君的過失與女色聯繫起來,因此,夏之妹喜、商之妲己周之褒姒就成了詛咒的對象。
商紂王徵服有蘇氏(今河南省武陟東)。有蘇氏獻出美女妲己。紂王迷於妲己的美色,對她言聽計從。妲己喜歡歌舞,紂王令樂師師涓創作靡靡的音樂,下流的健蹈,在宮中朝夕歡歌。妲己伴着“靡靡之音”起舞,妖豔迷人。於是紂王荒理朝政,日夜宴遊。紂王還在衛州(今河南省淇縣)設“酒池”,懸肉於樹為“肉林”,每宴飲者多至三千人,令男女裸體追逐其間,不堪入目。九侯(封地在今河北省臨漳)有一位女兒長得十分美麗,應召入宮,因看不慣妲己的淫蕩被殺,九侯也遭“ 醢刑”,剁成肉以食。
妲己喜觀“炮烙之刑”,將銅柱塗油,燃以火炭,令犯人行其上,跌落火紅的炭中,腳板被燒傷,不時發出慘叫聲。妲己聽到犯人的慘叫,就像聽到刺激感官的音樂一樣發笑。紂王為了博得妲己一笑,濫用重刑。
紂王的無道,激起人民的反抗。周武王乘機發動諸侯伐紂,在牧野之戰,一舉滅商,紂王逃到鹿臺自焚,妲己也自縊而死。
在《封神榜》中妲己被寫成了是受了女媧娘娘派遣迷惑商紂王,使商紂王江山斷送的狐狸精,相當於西施這種女間諜,可惜最後寸功未表,反被割掉了一顆如花似玉的大好頭顱(可惜了,本人感覺是女媧的錯)。
妲己這個女人是隨着《封神榜》的流傳而為人所熟知的。《封神榜》上說她豔如桃花,妖媚動人,美麗多姿,是千年狐狸精幻化成人,蠱惑紂王縱情女色,荒淫誤國,不務正事,使商朝滅亡。當周人滅商後,在殺妲己時,連劊子手都被其美色迷住,不忍下手,願替其死。
申公豹
姜子牙師兄。闡教的道士,妨礙封神計劃。是一個有能力卻不得人心的反派角色,不過書中描寫比起姜子牙求助他人和有強力法寶本身實力強大的他更讓人有深刻記憶。

作者疑論
《封神演義》的作者是誰,歷來衆說紛紜,
其一為許仲琳撰。
據明舒載陽刻本《封神演義》捲二題署“鐘山逸叟許仲琳編輯”,此書明本唯日本內閣文庫藏一部,僅捲二有題署。捲首有邗江李雲翔撰寫序文,序中雲:餘友舒衝甫自楚中重資購有鐘伯敬先生批閱《封神》一册,尚未竟其業,乃托餘終其事。餘不愧續貂,刪其荒謬,去其鄙俚,而於每回之後,或正詞,或反說,或以嘲謔之語以寫其忠貞俠烈之品,姦邪頑頓之態,於世道人心不無喚醒耳。
由此可知,此書原本為許仲琳撰寫,後經李雲翔加以增刪刻印。許仲琳是南直隸應天府人,始末不詳。
其二為陸西星撰。
據清·無名氏《傳奇匯考》捲七“《順天時》傳奇解題”雲:《封神傳》傳係元時道長陸長庚所作,未知的否?張政烺在《〈封神演義〉漫談》一文中,據此認為陸西星是《封神演義》作者,“元時”乃“明時”之誤。陸長庚名西星,是明代揚州府興化縣人,生於十六世紀後期,《陸仲遠詞稿序》說西星“以諸生讎學使賈禍 ”,有一定的造反精神。因“九試不遇,遂棄儒服為黃冠”。
明施有為萬歷中選《明廣陵詩》捲二十二收陸西星二十四首,有“出世已無傢”之語。張政烺還考證陸西星出傢後是呂岩(洞賓)道派人,所以在《封神演義》中出現陸壓道人,影射呂祖。
其三為王世貞撰。
蔣瑞藻在《小說枝談》中雲:俗傳王弇州作《金瓶梅》,為朝廷所知,令進呈御覽。弇州懼,一夜而成《封神演義》,以此代彼,因之頭白。
蔣瑞藻註云引自“缺名筆記”。此說荒謬,不足為信。
其四為明代某士人所撰。
清梁章鉅《歸田瑣記》捲七“封神傳”中雲:昔有士人罄傢所有,嫁其長女者,次女有怨色,士人慰之曰:“無憂貧也”。.. 演為《封神演義》,以稿授女,後其婿梓行之,竟大獲利雲雲。
梁章鉅在《浪跡續談》捲六“封神傳”中仍談此事,並雲這“士人”是“前明一名宿”。
以上四說中前兩說影響較大,但一般刊印《封神演義》還是署名為明人許仲琳。關於陸西星之說也值得重視和研究,張政烺、孫楷第先生對此說有精闢論述,朱一玄先生在《明清小說資料選編》中也對此說頗為重視。
道教影響
作者打亂了傳統的神位係統,按自己設想作了另外的安排,而道教中衹看作是神話小說,在醮壇科儀中並未加以參考。但這小說出現以後,在宗教觀及神職神位各方面,都有了很大的影響,茲略舉數例,以見一斑。
1.三教合一的思想形象化。這小說全部體現了三教合一觀點。為了寫起來容易,作者選擇了商末周初時代,這一時期在道教經典記載中代表道的尊神傳說已經存在,但在世間則三教教主都沒有降生。所以作者用了避實就虛的寫法,在道教鴻鈞老祖下,神化的老子列於第一位,雖領袖群仙,但不管實際事情,而仙在神上,以元始天尊為尊。對佛教則衹稱西方,以準提道人為尊而不提釋迦。因為釋迦此時尚未降世,“人間的老子”也是在東周纔誕生,並未成立道、佛、儒三教,所以十五回談到三教會定封神榜的三教是闡教、截教、人道。“人道”是哪一教,此回以後並未再提。所以書中避實取虛,在此以後凡後來歷史上有姓名記載的,均不列入,衹采神仙傳中的古代仙稱神號,以免有時代不符之嫌。間又將佛教幾位菩薩列於元始天尊十二弟子之內,這就是說佛受仙傳,由無生有,三教本源,皆是仙派,這小說實際是在明代三教合一思想上,又用塑造形象創造故事將其更加具體化。在道教思想上消滅了對立的因素。而道觀中供奉慈航道人(即觀世音菩薩),就是這書出刊以後開始的,這種影響是泯滅了兩教界限,起了混合兩教的進一步促進作用。後來流行的“紅蓮白藕青荷葉,三教由來是一傢。”的詩句,也是這作品的影響。
2.對道教神位的增添和補充。“封神”係統,道教中並未采用。廟宇尊神,仍按宋代係統未變。但因這小說的影響,增添了不少的神,例如:
(一)玄壇殿,是供趙公明的廟宇,因封神榜封趙公明為金竜如意正一竜虎玄壇真君,主管迎祥納福,並有招寶天尊、納珍天尊、招財使者、利市仙官四十部下大神,所以自此尊趙公明為財神,過去北京東嶽廟東院玄壇殿,香火最盛。
(二)清源妙道真君二郎神傳說的變化。二郎神話本由李冰父子治水衍變而來,後來在宋元雜劇中已漸神化,朱子語錄中還說他是李冰第二個兒子,自《封神演義》、《西遊記》兩書流行,遂尊楊戩為二郎尊神,在《封神演義》中梅山七怪為楊戩所殲滅;在《西遊記》則成為二郎神的梅山七兄弟。二郎神由李冰第二小兒子一次衍變為隋代嘉州太守趙昱,再衍變為楊戩,確是受《封神演義》的影響。
(三)東嶽大帝及其子炳靈公,為泰山之神,神位來源很早。即炳靈公封號,亦在宋代。但本書行世後,一般信奉的人,卻認為東嶽大帝是黃飛虎,炳靈公是黃天化。
(四)甲子太歲神像,雖姓名為金辨,但形象卻為目眶中生兩支手,手心中有二目,很明顯是受小說中楊任形象的影響。而且楊任在書中是封為甲子太歲的。
(五)此外北京東嶽廟有瘟神殿,也是明代所增修。
以上僅列舉幾個顯著的例子,實際道教神位受本書影響,尚不止此。
3.對民間信仰的影響。小說中的形象,如開路神方弼、方相,古書雖有記載,但頗簡略。自本書出刊後,在舊社會大殯葬行列中,前面均有此二開路神紙紮的巨象,《垂簾聽政》電影中也在鹹豐歸葬殯儀行列前出現此兩偶像。民間在建房竪柱之際,貼一紅紙上寫“姜太公在此,諸神回避。”蓋因相信姜太公是封神之人,一切兇煞均在其屬下,不敢為非之故。
4.支配自然之理想。作者思想基礎,受《陰符經》影響較大,他相信“宇宙在乎手、萬化生乎身”的道理,要從有為到無為,所以放開想像,塑造仙神異術,如雷震子背生雙翼,飛翔天空,土行孫土中穿行,地下無阻;楊戩八九玄功,隨心變化;哪吒腳踏飛輪,駕風禦火;又如魔道中高明高覺,眼看遠方,耳聽千裏;聞太師額生一目,時發神光。這些都是作者認為“萬化生乎身”,人類可以支配自然徵服自然的體現。當然在今日科學發達時代,這些事本不為奇,但在五百年前有此暢想,也是從道教從有為到無為的思想來的,因為先有有為,所以要掃蕩塵氛,支配萬物,廓清宇宙,以達到理想境界,在小說裏實貫徹了作者這種宗教觀。
作者在小說中有不少定命論的思想,認為一切都是前定。周武王當興商紂當滅是前定;封神也是三教會談預定的名單。這一種想法導致了他是非不分、邪正同爐的結論,不論好人壞人,都到封神臺上受封,這樣結尾,是一個最大的缺點。
但作者生於明代中葉,因九試不第,纔皈依道教,疏解道經。從他的思想變化來看,雖然受到時代局限,存在着宿命論的觀點;可是目睹朝政日非,生民疾苦,賄賂公行,懷才不遇的局面,充滿了嫉恨這種醜惡現實,也不滿意當時號稱道士而獲得高位的教徒。所以他的理想是從政治上蕩瑕滌穢,在宗教上廓清異端。所以在宗教上自行創派開宗,自稱東派;在政治方面,歌頌了吊民伐罪的周武王和姜子牙,而不責備他們以臣伐君;肯定了哪吒對李靖的對抗行動,贊許了為了正義以子攻父。他受《陰符經》影響較深,他認為“觀天之道,執天之行”是正確的,所以用“人發殺機,天地反復,天人合發,萬化定基”的精神,認為有明中葉混亂局面,非有大力者如周武王、姜子牙這樣人物加以澄清不可。在那人魔不分時代,所謂魔即是醜惡的代稱,作者頗以安天上定人間的姜子牙自許,所以用係統的宗教語言,比較隱晦地麯折地表達出他對當時政治不滿而希求改革的思想,在這一方面是有其可取的成就的;在宗教上它的影響也比較大。因此,這一部小說在道教史上是值得一提的。
後世作品
『南總裏見八犬伝』 日本小說,是江戸時代、麯亭馬琴的長篇小說。可以說是最早受到影響的國外作品。
『仙界伝·封神演義』日本漫畫,是日本漫畫傢藤崎竜,作品以原作的背景和人物為基礎,建立一個完全不同的新故事,融合歷史、科幻和少年漫畫常見的奮鬥主題,而且結構完整清晰,沒有一般商業漫畫的拖沓。主角太公望顛覆了人們心目中白發長者的形象,變成了一個有點無賴有點小聰明而又善於領導的少年,其中各路神仙也都有着驚人的形象和獨特的個性。
『殷周傳說·太公望傳奇』日本漫畫,橫山光輝的漫畫作品。比藤崎版的魔幻要素少,但符合故事原歷史風格。全22捲,由於橫山光輝身體緣故停止過一年,屬遺著。
『封神演義』遊戲軟件,PC遊戲軟件製造,傢用遊戲機PS用遊戲軟件製作發售的遊戲軟件。GC用動作遊戲為『戰鬥封神』,GBA用RPG為『真的Cal.封神』。
『封神演義』廣播劇,NHK-FM內節目「青春冒險」,從1998年到2000年暑假播放。用三部分成各20回,計60回。使用講談社文庫版新版『封神演義』大體上符合原作。(作為妲己的野澤雅子給我印象深刻)在故事後期由於登場人物的增多,總編輯都有上場出現。
『央華封神RPG』小組SNE的設計,works發行,作為模型製作了封神演義的古代中國的RPG。再以小說(友野詳著),漫畫(慄橋伸佑作畫),廣播劇,交換卡遊戲(『央華封神TCG』)為基礎的遊戲。
『封神演義·哪吒』中國動畫片,由中國中央電視臺製作並播出,在2006年和2007年日本岐阜電視臺也播出過,有DVD發售(實話說反映真的很小..)。
『水滸傳(The Story of Chinese Gods)』香港動畫片,1975年製造,把封神演義做為題材的動畫片。日本東寶電視臺播出過。李小竜作為人物出現過。

混沌初分盤古先,太極兩儀四象懸, 子天醜地人寅出,避除獸患有巢賢。
燧人取火免鮮食,伏羲畫卦陰陽前, 神農治世嘗百草,軒轅禮樂婚姻聯。
少昊五帝民物阜,禹王治水洪波蠲, 承平享國至四百,桀王無道乾坤顛。

天挺人賢號尚父,封神壇上列花箋, 大小英靈尊位次,商周演義古今傳。
成湯,乃黃帝之後也,姓子氏。初帝嚳次妃簡狄,祈於高,有玄馬之祥,遂生契。契事唐虞為司徙,教民有功,封於商。傳十叁世,生太乙,是為成湯。聞伊尹耕於有莘之野,而樂堯舜之道,是個大賢。即時以幣帛,叁遣使往聘之,而不敢用,進之於天子。桀王無道,信讒逐賢,而不能用,復歸之於湯。後桀王日事荒淫,殺直臣關竜逄,衆庶莫敢直言:湯使人哭之,桀王怒,囚湯於夏臺。後湯得釋而歸國,出郊,見人張網四面而祝曰:“從天墜者,從地出者,從四方來者,皆罹吾網。”湯解其叁面,止置一面,更祝曰:“欲左者左,欲右者右,欲高者高,欲下者下,不用命者,乃入吾網。”漢南聞之曰:“湯德至矣!”歸之者四十餘國。桀惡日暴,民不聊生,伊尹乃相湯伐桀,放桀於南巢。諸侯大會,湯退而就諸侯之位;諸侯推湯為天子,於是湯始即位,都於亳。元年乙未,湯在位除桀虐政,順民所喜,遠近歸之。因桀無道,大早七年;成湯祈禱於桑林;天降大雨。又以莊山之金鑄幣,救民之命。作樂大□,□者護也,言湯寬仁大德,能救護生命也。在位十叁年而崩,壽百歲。享國六百四十年,傳至商受而上。
