这种方法是取词组中每个词的第一个字母代表这个词组构成新词，各字母分别发音，称为abbreviation,如：
it(信息技术)←information technology
www(万维网)←world wide web
cpu(中央处理器)←central processing unit
pnp(即插即用)←plug & play
cai(计算机辅助教学)←computer assisted instruction
isp(因特网服务提供者)←internet service provider
还有来自一个句子的缩略词，如：
wysiwyg（所见即所得）←what you see is what you get.
一见到它，ko（keyboard operator 键盘操作者）就知道这个功能胜过ccdos （chinese character disk operating system 汉字磁盘操作系统）下的wps （word processing system文字处理系统）。 |
