Specimens of Origin: Japan Sagami Beach.
Distinguishing characteristics: small shell than the previous species, before and after the pipe trench shorter than the enlargement of the middle surface of the shell pale flesh-colored or white, pipe trench ends colorless.
Form Description: Shell smaller than the previous species. Before and after the semi-tubular extension pipe ditch, slightly twisted, nearly as long as the central body whorl inflated, oval. Shell shiny surface, on a clear, shallow fine grooves, the grooves have a serrated edge micro significant notch, zonal wide flat between grooves. Growth lines more obvious. The right edge of the thick, wide, smooth and free of grooves thereon. Both ends of the shell base compression, central bulging. Shell elongated mouth, forward gradually widened, slippery inner lip thin, horizontal grooves beneath looming; outer lip curved near the bow, the inner and outer edges of thick, top with very faintly, faintly visible granular projections pale pink or white, colorless end of pipe trench, the inner and outer lip is white, the inner shell mouth is brown.
Distribution: This subspecies range is distributed in the East Bay from Hangzhou to Wenzhou Bay off the coast, south to Guangdong zhapo (?). In addition, foreign in Japan (once the horse to the Sea of Japan from North Kyushu) also has distribution.
